"Very nice resort by the beach. Extremely dog friendly for those who bring their k9 pals everywhere. Checkin/check out were very smooth. Everyone was very nice. Only drawback is there is no “room service”. There’s a couple of items you can order that is from one of the restaurants. So if you’re have a late night out and are hungry, better to stop somewhere and bring it to your room. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay. "

"This hotel belied its three star rating on Google maps. It was well staffed with a manned front desk. The room was spacious with a well appointed bathroom. The breakfast buffet was varied and extensive. Would not hesitate to stay there again."

"I stayed in one of the corner suites. The view was outstanding. Even better than the image on the website. The room was large and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, as were the chairs. I didn't watch the TV as I was reading and just looking at the view. I like this hotel because it is just across from an undeveloped, unspoilt, and very quiet stretch of beach - the nicest I have seen in Gangneung and probably the nicest I have personally experienced in South Korea. As a result, I spent a fair amount of time on the beach. Unfortunately, a huge development is being built next door to the hotel. I hope it doesn't ruin this area of beach, but I am doubtful. Breakfast was a do-shi-rack/bento box to be eaten in the room. This was surprising, but it was tasty nonetheless. The room was not the cleanest though. Dusty in parts and even a bit of dried seaweed on the bedside table. However, I really enjoyed my stay overall. I was sad to leave the suite due to the view and the amount of natural light. I hope to go back soon. Note - they are very strict with check in time - no check in before 3pm. This is a quiet area. I have seen some Koreans complain about this, but it is the reason I like it. Also, as a solo foreigner there were not really any dining options that appealed to me. Seafood is king here. However, there is a decent convenience store a few minutes walk away. I had a cup ramen sitting outside. Good times"

"I was so excited to book the property and share with my husband and daughter. The view of the East Sea was incredible. The property is a true one of a kind but the rooms are uncomfortable. There is absolitely no place to sit and no table. With the bed being a bowl shaoe you couldnt sit on the bed. There was no mirror. I am not fond of the wet bathroom. The floor is wet and it is just annoying. The part that was the most disappointing is after paying $278 USD for one night it didnt include admission to the museum. I was beyond disappointed with the lack of comfort. I recommend you see the hotel as the museum bit dont waste the money to stay at the hotel. "
