「I booked this for my wife and I, our two sons (2 & 5 years old), her dad and my dad. It was a nice secluded and quiet spot, and it had everything that we needed for our trip. Whiteface mountain was about 15-20 minutes away and Lake Placid about 25-30. Lana was a great host. Communication was easy and she made sure to show us the house and let us know where everything was.」

「This was the perfect woods home. Close to hiking, biking, the Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, Whiteface - whatever we were looking to do, it was a short drive away. The pool and hot tub were great, although a bit cold as we were there later in the season.」

「We had a great stay in Rick and Sue’s beautiful cabin in the woods. It’s very quiet and the river is only a 5min walk away . 」

「Great cabin, very responsive and kind hosts, great location. We stayed for a long weekend with two little kids- great location for hiking and sight seeing. The kids loved the hot tub and loft area. The only suggestion I would have for families with kids is to bring a gate, the stairs are steep. Otherwise we had a great time. Will definitely re-book!」
