Fabulous Cabin

This was the perfect home base for us when we hiked the nearby Great Range Traverse. The cabin is comfortable and the location is beautiful. We explored the river and loved sitting out back watching the starry sky at night. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

This stay was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. It was close enough to Lake Placid and Whiteface where the drive to and from wasnt bad at all & it was secluded to where we could relax and look at the amazing views at the end of the day to wind down. Will definitely stay here again!

Great for a cozy little weekend getaway

The view from the cabin looking out to the river is incredible. We loved how secluded it felt, without it being too far out from needed stores and places to explore

The VIEW! We were in awe of the amazing view of the river and mountains from the cabin during our entire visit! We had a fun little adventure going down the steep ravine to get to the water with our two bigs dogs, but it was well worth it! Everything about this place is wonderful, both inside and out. I liked being in such a quiet and secluded location while still close enough to all the things we wanted to do and see - Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge, a gondala ride and hiking. The cabin is even better than what you see in the pictures. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place!

We spent ( My Gf and our 3 huskies) spent 5 days here and it was perfect! The set up and location were highly ideal for what we wanted to do on the trip. Having the beautiful Ausable river right in the backyard was really nice.

Lots of great snow!

Such a pleasure staying here for the long weekend! We liked being a little out of town, and when snow came in at over a foot, Mary and Greg were very responsive with plows and help. The view was beautiful and such a nice cozy stay.

Another fabulous stay. My husband and I love that this location is convenient to Lake Placid, Wilmington, and Saranac Lake. Mary and Greg are top notch hosts and accommodated all of our needs. 10/10 would stay again.

Peaceful cabin getaway

Exactly what we wanted, cozy and clean cabin with all the amenities near a river with a Mountain View. Did some river fishing in the back, made a fire, went hiking a short drive away. Perfect experience, will be back.

Perfect cozy spot for a family getaway

My second stay here and it continues to impress.

Great location with amazing views. Has everything you may need for a multi day stay. Tons of appliances, utensils, spices, etc. 20 minutes to whiteface mountain which was perfect. The garage is awesome to get your car and boards out of the weather. Highly recommend this place.
