"Great location. Although the hotel is older, the room was clean and comfortable. Parking is suitable for small cars/SUVs. I am not sure if they have another location for larger vehicles/pickup trucks."
"Fabulous place. Everyone was super nice. They gave us some extras as we were celebrating our anniversary. Also the lounge entertainment, Jacques Drew, was terrific. Highly recommend."
"Property under construction which was not a problem for us. We got a new room and it was a nice, modern, comfortable room. Our biggest issue was we were on the main floor, facing the main road and there were many big busses coming in and out throughout our stay. One of the two mornings we stayed, we could hear the beeping of the bus reversing at 6:12 AM which woke us up. The kitchen was very small but nice to have. There lacked space to put your clothes out of the suitcase. There were only two drawers (one has the safe in it which took up the whole drawer and the other had blankets which took up that drawer). There was an open closet rack that had only about 4-5 hangers. Beautiful renovation. About a 20-25 min walk to the main area of downtown. Plenty of parking. Unfortunately, hot tub under renovation, but able to use the neighboring hotel (but that lacked a bit in comfort, space and quality). Overall a nice stay."
"Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Tonquin Inn. The room was clean, the towels were fresh, and I appreciated having a parking space directly in front of my room—it made loading and unloading very convenient. I stayed in a family room, which was spacious and comfortable.
That said, the property does feel a bit dated. The bathroom fixtures, especially the sink faucets, could use an update. My biggest concern was the lack of ventilation. The windows don’t really open; only a very small screened opening at the bottom of the sliding glass door allows fresh air in. Personally, that made me feel a bit closed in, especially after spending time outdoors enjoying Jasper’s fresh mountain air.
Overall, it was a clean and convenient place to stay, but some updates and better ventilation would make the experience much more enjoyable."
"Good hotel for one night. Walk into town was 20+ minutes. Option is to find parking in main town area but is $3 per hour. Breakfast is not included and was so so and a bit expensive for a buffet. Watch out for the little girl that takes all the grapes from the fruit bowl."
"It was a walkable location to the Main Street where we could get dinner. The suite was spacious and quiet. The floors up above creaked though. It’s a 55 year old Inn, but with some Reno’s, it was definitely appreciated. The lady at the front desk check in was kind and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay in Jasper!"
