"The front desk staff were great and went above and beyond to help me have the best stay possible. Sometimes the check in process has a backup though as seem understaffed. We had to change rooms after check in because the AC in our room was broken but I was very happy about the room after we had it switched. The area of this hotel is VERY busy so naturally the hotel is too. It's conveniently located near 42st subway station and walkable to many things. As for the room the beds were very comfy but the bathroom is a bit small and shower was not great (but was clean). I would stay here again if the rate was more competitive."

10/10 Excellent

"The location is excellent both for nearby attractions and public transit connections farther afield. Easy walking distance to Broadway Theatres and nearby restaurants, with Harold square a block away, and Madison Square Gardens in view from the the entrance. There are three restaurants on site, including a very reasonably priced diner by NY standards that seemed quite popular in the late evening. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were clean. They were very small and basic, but I think that's to be expected in so central a location. The bathroom hardware was old but perfectly functional apart from a slight drip in the cold water facet in the sink. Very quiet with a city skyline viewable from the small window (we had a 20+ floor room). Quite satisfied overall with the stay."
