It's was great stay in so many ways... the place is perfect... good distribution, perfect view, the pool is amazing, you don't need to bring anything... everything is here, The process to get in is very easy, Herve is avaible to help and he is in contact to know how is everything. I will recomended for sure and I will stay here again in future for sure.

Very nice property

The fully equipped place is at a great location with all services and free on site covered parking. Host is very friendly, helpful, accommodating and supplied with precision all required instructions to access the property.

Beautiful property with beautiful views

The condo is immaculate with breathtaking views. Walk to the beach takes 5 minutes. The owner was very responsive and shared lots of useful information prior our arrival. We had great time and hope to be back.

Golden Reef. Would go back in a minute.

Great stay. Attentive host. A very nice place sitting on a hillside overlooking the ocean and beautiful Playa Blanca beach at the foot of the hill. Enjoyed hanging out at the large terrace and taking in the amazing view. Saw a good number of scarlet macaws and flocks of pelicans. Down at the beach saw a troop of capuchin monkeys. Would go back in a minute.

Breath taking views

Amazing views

Enjoyed a couple days relaxing in the sun and reading. This was the portion of our journey where we did not tour much but just relaxed. Recommend location for such a goal!

We had high hopes for this vacation and property, and it absolutely blew them out of the water! Absolutely gorgeous place to stay - well equipped and functional with a view that literally never ceases to amaze. Just a breathtaking place.In terms of specifics, you are about 20-30 minutes' drive from the highway, so that will factor in to your plans while staying here, but there's a market on the club property for essentials, and a fantastic supermarket a very short drive down the highway where you can stock up on everything you'd possibly need. The beach is a very short (if steep) walk from the condo, and the pool that's right at the bottom of the elevator was a huge hit. All in all, an absolute dream vacation spot that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The host was also extremely communicative over WhatsApp, and was ready to answer any and all, questions we had. To say we were happy with the experience would be a criminal understatement!

Beautiful view, amazing balcony

The place was lovely. Like most other locations in CR, driving to the condo can be a bit hairy if you're not ready for it - very tight. The only issue we had was the power went out for a little bit one evening, but the owner was working on it immediately as was the condominium staff. Very responsive. Be sure to confirm with the host which beds you intend to use so that there's no confusion about bedding. Highly recommend.

Awesome view

Great place to stay close to the beach. Not far from San Jose. Very secure. Yvette is great to work with. She is very responsive and her instructions and recommendations were super helpful. If you have people who can’t walk good in your party you will need a golf cart to go to the beach and back. It’s a short walk, but quite steep on the way back. Lots of scarlet macaws and plenty of monkeys at Playa Manta if you get over there early in the morning.

Spectacular View

We rented the condo for the view & we’re not disappointed. We appreciated being able to use the beach towels, chairs, cooler & beach toys. The beach is a short walk but the walk back is uphill. The beach is very clean & the waves were calm. The condo is very spacious and the kitchen is very well stocked to cook. The restaurants are a 15 min drive. A storm knocked out power right after we arrived. and it was off for 24hrs. The owner did her best to communicate w/ us. There was one flashlight and a few tea lights. We made the most it and still enjoyed our stay.

Stunning Views and a Clean Beautiful Condo

My family and I (daughter, son-in-law, two children) stayed here for several days and it was lovely. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the views from the very spacious balconies, which contained lots of seating options, a table and chairs for dining, and a hammock. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed in terms of dishes, towels, soaps, etc. It is also very spacious and really comfortable. The pool area (and pool slide!) was greatly appreciated by the kids. Communications with the property manager were promptly answered and instructions were very clear on the arrival process (several guard stations to pass through, which makes the property extremely secure). The only small issue we found (when we arrived one toilet would not) was resolved quickly. Highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway!! PS La Ostra Negra is a WONDERFUL restaurant right near the first entry into the property.

Amazing view

If what you are looking for is a beautiful view, this is your place. The only way to get to the beach is walking and the up hill walk is very very hard, definitely not for seniors. Also is better to take with you all your groceries to cook your own meal due to getting in and out of the property its about 25 minutos and more if they send you by the public entrance, witch happens to us upon arrival. The security guard on site, Jimy, was very helpful and friendly. The apartment needs some minor refurbishment, specially with the kitchen utensils ( some are missing and the existing ones needs to be replaced) and the bathroom faucets. For the price paid I will expect good hot water with nice shower heads, ( in one of the bathrooms there was no hot water at all, and some at the other two), also it will be nice to have good kitchen knives, serving spoons, table placemats etc due to its necessary to cook on site. The kitchen appliances are very good quality.

A Gem of a host!!!!

The communication between us and our host was 10 star. I have never had such special, friendly communication in any other VRBO rental and i have rented many. Thank you Herve for all of the extra info you gave us about the area. The condominium was immaculate with everything one needs to cook, etc.. The location of the condo overlooking the beach and Pacific was par excelance. Sunsets were amazing. The ice cream place within the grounds of the Golden Reef was super and the restaurant was good and low key. We rented golf carts to go to the beach since we needed them for certain issues we have. I actually snorkled just off the beach and saw yellow tailed fish. I am sure you could see more if you went out further. I was alone so didn’t trust myself to go too far out. The entire week was so beautiful and peaceful. We now don't want to leave but Adios Golden Reef. Betty

Spacious condo with a spectacular view

My family of 6 really enjoyed this property. The condo was very clean and is spacious. Having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus. The view is terrific and we loved sipping coffee in the morning on the large patio while listening to the sound of the waves and keeping our eyes out for the scarlet macaws. We did the CostaCat tour to Isla Tortuga our first full day which was fun, but we enjoyed the snorkeling even more at the beach near the home, where we saw a large variety of fish and a couple sea turtles. The kids loved playing in the pool at the complex which had a slide that’s even fun for teens and adults. We spent one afternoon exploring the shops of Jaco, and enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner at Amara restaurant. We felt very safe at this property as you have to pass several guard stations to get to the home. The only things we did not particularly enjoy were the bumpy dirt road you travel for about 10 minutes on the way to the home (and every time you want to head back out to the highway and the short but steep hike from the beach to the home. Next time we will propose consider renting a golf cart to facilitate transportation to the beach. We also wish there were a few more dining and shopping options closer (in order to avoid the bumpy dirt road). Overall, we had a splendid stay and we appreciated the wonderful stay and look forward to returning.
