Discover Norris Lake at this Charming Lakefront House with a gentle slope to the lake!
This renovated, secluded 1,900 sq/ft home sits in a cul-de-sac on a deep year-round water channel. The house offers exceptional lake views that includes a private fenced in yard with a fire pit and a short walk to the water. The home sleeps 12 guests comfortably.

As you walk inside the house, you will find an open living concept with large, floor to ceiling windows for the best lake views. The kitchen and living area are large and great for entertaining. There are 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom on the main level, as well as a large deck, perfect for sitting or grilling. One bedroom includes its own private balcony.

The spiral staircase leads you to the basement where there is large floor to ceiling windows, a sitting area, table with chairs (perfect for card games), desk with a monitor and Queen over Queen bunk beds. The downstairs includes a full bathroom. The downstairs has an attached screened porch with easy access to the water. The backyard has a fence surrounding the yard. The house includes a new two slip covered dock with a swim platform outfitted with cleats. One covered slip with rubber matting and the swim platform with cleats are perfect for parking watercraft.

Laundry room with washer and dryer, 15 hooks for towels/swimsuits, second refrigerator and deep freezer. The lights in the laundry room are motion activated.

This location is perfect, as its only 10 minutes to town and less than 2 minutes by water to Twin Cove Marina.

This is our second time at this property and it is amazing. Beautiful view lots of shade and in my opinion the perfect location just off the highway. So close to twin cove marina. Great to relax,boat or swim from the covered dock. Highly recommend. The host is very responsive and we hope to return again.

The house was comfortable for our family of 5. Great layout and accurate listing. Their dock area is so nice, and one of the easiest walks from the house to the dock that we’ve ever had.

LAKE NORRIS VACATION

Very clean and comfortable home. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. Easy walk to the dock. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

This was very last minute! Booked the day before we came down from Canada!! Cassandra was very quick and helpful with all her responses! The house was very clean.. great location.. ramp was close for the boat. Cassandra had everything in the house that we needed!! Great stay!!!

Little Gem!

Thanksgiving at the Lake

We had a great stay at Oscar's Hideaway. The property is close to I-75, has ample space, and lake access. The kitchen was well stocked - we made a full Thanksgiving meal and had everything we needed. The only thing I would call out for multi-family stays at this property is the lower level has 4 beds (bunks), but it does not really work as a private bedroom space as the staircase is open to the upstairs and there are no window coverings. So if you plan to have kids stay downstairs, I wouldn't love that or as a family space, there is no way to seal off noise from upstairs and you would have to use the lower level bathroom to change clothes, etc. If we were staying in the summer months, I would also have preferred the property to have a washer/dryer (or at least a dryer) for towels, suits, etc. Overall, the property was perfect for our needs and have no complaints for our stay - just somethings I noticed to point out for others as they consider a stay here.

Excellent Lake Hideaway

Family had a great long weekend over the Labor Day holiday at Oscar's Hideaway. The house was the perfect base camp to relax after spending the day on Norris Lake. Boat ramp is a short drive from the house and the house is a short boat ride to Twin Cove and open water. The covered dock is close to the house and provided a great place to fish and swim. The house was large enough to comfortably fit extended family and had everything we needed for our trip. Great communication with owner, Cassie. Definitely recommend a visit.

LOVELY stay at this beautiful lake house!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Oscar's Hideaway! The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen with EVERYTHING you could possibly need for cooking and serving! I was impressed! The large island in the kitchen and the gorgeous dining table we perfect gathering spots for our family's dinners, game nights, packing snackle boxes, and more! The rooms are clean and comfortable! The lower level is BOMB! We had two teenagers (but could fit many more!) down there and they loved having their own space with a sitting nook, desk, closet, huge bunk beds, closet, and bathroom. Loved fishing from the dock and having the covered area for our boat. Just a few minutes on boat to Twin Cove and Mountain Lake Marinas. The host, Cassie, is so sweet and easy to work with. HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Weekend for memories

This rental is everything as described! It’s not over the top and feels very homey (in a good way!) Had all the items you would need in the kitchen and for cleaning if you have young kiddos making a mess. We lived on the screen porch all weekend. The dock is in great shape and we enjoyed swimming right off the front. Wish there was a pack n play or baby gate or high chair available, just in case you have young one. But other than thAt. Grandparents and two adult children with their 5 kids fit in the house perfectly and have a wonderful weekend, making memories!
