"The apartment was spacious (for Tokyo) and had most things we needed for our trip. The neighbourhood was close enough to many train stations but far enough from Akihabara to be blissfully quiet at night. The kitchen had cooking tools but no cooking oil, tea, coffee, etc that you often find in hotels with kitchens. We managed and the nearby grocery store became our favourite local grocery store. Great food and affordable meal options that were also delicious. The local area also had some unique...

"This is nice apartment hotel in a great part of Tokyo next to a small garden and right by 7-11 and convenience stores. It is very near Ueno park and the Ueno train station making it a great location for excursions throughout Tokyo and beyond. Although off the beaten path we got good directions from the management. The only issue we had was that the bedding was old and some of it was stained. "

"TORA Hotel was a godsend. We were stranded without a hotel due to an accident on the Shinkansen which suspended services the day we were headed to Osaka. The hotel was close to Tokyo station and close enough to Akihabara for us to see a bit before we went back to Tokyo Station. The unit was clean but the shower pressure was weak. "
