The staff was extremely professional and excellent, the exterior building lovely and inviting. The room is a huge disappointment although the attempt to clean was visible. The room had a smell, bath showers floor discolored and disgusting. Out dated furniture that should have thrown out or reupholstered. The staff was awesome. Very accommodating lovely people Put would I stay again only if it was absolutely no other hotel to go to. Again it just needs to be updated with a new everything otherwise you are a pleasant establishment

This was a perfect place to stay close to the baseball fields (like less than 1 min close). Breakfast was your standard continental breakfast. I do have 2 suggestions for breakfast, 1. with games starting at 8am and being so close to the fields, starting at 7am is a bit late. 6 or even 6:30am would be much better. 2. The individual servings of cream cheese need to be refrigerated at all times placing them in with the breads that are not refrigerated isn’t good. This was the case on both Sat and Sun mornings. The rooms were clean, most stuff seems to be updated fairly recently and the bed was comfortable. The only area that didn’t looked to be touched was the stairwells but honestly it’s not a big deal to me. I will say the noise from the road can be a bit loud sometimes but it’s manageable.

I really enjoyed our stay and the staff was pleasant and informative about the nearby attractions and what to avoid. The stay was pleasant with good breakfast and parking availability. Worth booking for your stay!

Had a wedding to attend and stayed bc it was move-in week for the area colleges. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was limited but sufficient. The bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the facility was not the cleanest. The pool was dirty, and the room had a musty smell. The lobby was hot and humid. The curtains were broken. The AC in the room worked well, but made loud noises that sounded like it was going to break. It did not and remained a working unit throughout the reservation (3 days/2 nights). Overall, not worth the cost per night. Cortland is a depressed area overall with little to do, but if you are in the area, check out the 1890 house.

The staff took 25 minutes to check us in, gave us a handicapped room whose drain did not work so taking a shower flooded the bathroom floor and I had to mop it up to even walk in there, and the carpet had dirty looking spots.

Con isn’t for what we were in the area for. Property definitely needed some updates. There were several Sheetrock patches with no paint in our room, one of the towels had stains on it and a shelf that was in the bathroom was hanging from the wall

We stayed for two nights at Best Western Plus Finger Lakes. The location is convenient - close to shopping, restaurants, and right next to a mini golf course. Parking was easy and plentiful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. Customer service at the front desk was poor, and they weren’t flexible about a late checkout. Breakfast options were limited, there was no hairdryer in our bathroom, and no room service during our stay. If you need extra towels, you’re required to bring your used ones down to the front desk to exchange them, which felt unnecessarily inconvenient. We also had the bad luck of being placed next to few rooms booked by families attending a youth baseball tournament. The teenage boys were loud and unsupervised in the hallways both nights, keeping us up until midnight when we had early mornings planned. It made for a frustrating and restless stay. For the price, you’d expect a bit more in terms of service, amenities, and overall experience. While the location is great, we likely wouldn’t return.

After paying a higher amount than the surrounding hotels I was surprised at the state of this hotel. There was not enough hot water for 2 of us to shower and the foot stool in our room was decrepit (see photo). We actually checked out one day early despite having paid $299 for the night.

It was ok. If you’re going to a PBR tournament in Cortland, it’s location is perfect. I don’t have anything bad to say - it was on the shabbier side - but it was a clean comfortable place to sleep. nothing special. FYI, the “hot breakfast” promised was powdered eggs & make your own waffle. Otherwise it was a fridge with yogurts & some prepackaged muffins.
