Located in the heart of Istanbul, just a few minutes away from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, Senatus hotel is a great option to stay. The staff was helpful, the room was nice and clean and the included breakfast was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Zeer goede hotel .Het is de tweede maal dat wij logeren in de Senatus hotel .Zeer vriendelijk en het ontbijt was zeer lekker en veel keuze maar veel minder dan de eerste maal .En de poetsvrouwen Zorgde iedere dag voor schone kamer en heel vriendelijk zeker de 2 mevrouwen van bulgarije en Kazacstan.super vriendelijk.

We arrived early at our hotel and the staff were very accommodating. We were hoping to just store our luggage for a few hours while we were sightseeing, but they were actually able to find us a comparable room to the one we had booked and let us check in almost 5 hours early. Buffet breakfast was amazing! Lots of selection.

Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, besonders Mustafa. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig, lediglich die Kaffeemaschine schwächelte. Für Menschen, die gerne ihre Zukunft im Kaffeesud lesen wollen, war sie leider perfekt. Die Lage war sensationell!

Staff was amazing specially Mr. Mustafa who greeted us at the reception and he was very humble and helpful person and helped us in all possible ways. Air conditioning was a little low that kept us a bit hot through night but we didn’t complain so can’t blame the hotel. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good and they tried different dishes every day. I would recommend this place to stay. Very close to all attractions. We literally took few minutes of walk to blue mosque, Topkapi palace and Hagia Sophia. Tons of shops and restaurants close by.

Really good hotel in the heart of sultanahmet. A 10 min walk from Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and sultanahmet square. There is lots of shops around the hotel for food and stores. The location is just everything. The hotel itself can feel a little bit older but it does not affect your stay. The rooms are small even the deluxe room can feel pretty small but if you are there for a few days it gets the job done especially because of the location. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing!! The variety and they have new things every day. It’s very tasty and would highly recommend. Definitely would come back just for even the location.

If you want to visit the main tourist sites in historic Sultanahmet then this hotel is incredibly close and only a short uphill walk to Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. Our room was large and well-appointed, though the staff member at check in was not the friendliest. We specifically booked a room from the night before our arrival (which was early morning) so that we could check in immediately but he either didn't understand what we had done or was not informed so we had to explain multiple times that our room was in fact ready for check in. Breakfast was fine but basic, so don't come expecting a massive spread. But for a modest hotel it is adequate.
