This was a huge, beautiful, well-thought out house. The pool is a nice touch but arguably unnecessary when you have a gorgeous beach just a few steps away. We had 14 people all told (including 5 college students, 7 older adults, and two 11-year-olds), and we had no problem finding beds and space for everyone. Internet and big TVs with cable all were fast and easy to use. The kitchen / upstairs area was ginormous and let us cook meals for 14 and socialize in the space all together afterwards. Even from the standards of making sometimes-elaborate meals for 14, the owners did not let us down, they have done a solid job having everything a kitchen needs (well, minus a coffee grinder, unless it's there somewhere; at least they had 2 large coffee makers!).
Wild Dunes unobtrusively sent people over to clean the pool twice while we were there, and to take the trash cans in the garage out to the street. Check-in and check-out was super easy and painless. The resort itself had phenomenal clay tennis courts and we even took some lessons we enjoyed.
Overall, 11 Dunecrest Lane was a nice, simple and tasteful place that was comfortable for a large group, had everything we needed, even felt elegant at times. And while people talk about the beach being "steps away," it really was something like 10 steps from the house to a sandy path, which was already basically beach in another 20 steps or so. What a gem!
