"This beautiful and extremely comfortable home is in the small and quiet village of Bernard. The house is very well stocked and provides an excellent night’s sleep. The wharf and an adorable library are just a 5 minute walk away. The house is 30 min from Bar Harbor and 10 minutes past SW Harbor but near delicious lobster, trails (Wonderland & Ship Harbor), and Bass Harbor Light House. The house is so welcoming and a great place to relax after a day of hiking and exploring. "

"This property was an affordable way to have an enjoyable stay near all the sights of Acadia. The ability to do laundry during our trip was a big plus as well as 4 twin beds for 4 adults with room to spread out. Generally we spent time exploring Acadia and Bass Harbor but having the house allowed a day of relaxation and puzzle assembly for some while others spent more time hiking. Owners were fantastic!! Would stay again. "

"This property is brand new and had everything we needed. Surrounding area is beautiful, being a bit away from the crowds is nice too. Hosts were responsive to needs, provided some extra activities (corn hole, fire pit, wood, grill). Could use some more seating in the living area for those rainy days but kids did fine lounging on their beds. Hopefully you don’t have many of those days. "The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...
