"Modern hotel in a great location near the Munich central train station!"

"This Holiday Inn was conveniently located and had many upgrades to make it a modern hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was bilingual and efficient. The desk was always busy and fast-paced, so we did not ask for extra help or information as to not impose. The breakfast was ample with many choices and plenty of seating. Parking is beneath the hotel. Spaces are tight, but there is reasonable parking available. The hotel is very walkable (15-20 minutes) to Marienplatz and the associated area. Once you are parked, there is little reason to move your vehicle with the walkability and public transportation considered. Busy hotel, but understandable as to why. We would return here!"

"We stayed two nights at Hotel Schlicker, a historic hotel wonderfully placed just off Marienplatz, walking distance from multiple attractions, shopping and restaurants, and with easy access to public transportation. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. There is a complete buffet breakfast every morning. The hotel has a variety of room sizes and our room was quite small with limited space for luggage and clothing. That was my only concern. "

"The property is near rail station. Rooms I got was clean however there is Donor kabab shop on ground floor and the smell of food in room was bothering me. Rest good stay, near by food shops , grocery, bakery, cafe…. Very convenient."

However, for a five star resort and of course price it was missing amenities and all around charm / care. Of course it was convenient to station so that’s one of the perk but I don’t know that I’d stay again for the price. It felt more like a large Marriott"

"Booked 6 triple rooms as it advertised 1 double and 1 single bed. Arrived to be told by reception that it is a sofa bed and it was not made up with bed sheets or duvets and as house keeping was not here (about 6pm) it would not be made up until the following day. We asked for the bedding ourselves to make up. No house keeping arrived the following day to check as reception has said they would. The reception also tried to charge me again even though I had prepaid. Premier inn seemed to be totally disconnected to the hotels.com booking service and everything that was wrong they just blamed hotels.com listing. Hotel itself is basic as expected by Premier Inn. Location is great close to Marienplatz and train station, hotel bar and restaurant area seemed new and modern. Would stay again but unhappy with how reception handled check in."
