What a nice house on a nice piece of property! House is clean and tidy, comfortable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay -- we hope to return in warmer weather so we can enjoy more of the grounds.

Beautiful Fall Weekend

This was the perfect location for us. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and the short drive to Elephant Rocks and Johnson’s Shut-ins. The property was very well-maintained inside and out. Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

From booking to check-out, it was a wonderful experience. The communication was excellent and I appreciated the quick and helpful responses. Check-in was easy. Wonderful Getaway

Everything last detail is thoughtful and leaves you wanting for nothing during your stay. So peaceful and quiet and secluded while also being close to town and so many state parks. This was our second stay in the cabin this summer and we’ll definite be back soon!

Family getaway.

This property was perfect for our family to unwind and reconnect. It served has a great home base for our day trips to Johnsons Shut-ins, Elephant Rock, and a float trip on the Black River. It is secluded and we enjoyed our evenings around the fire pit.

Wonderful property

We had a great Thanksgiving getaway! Spent the days hiking and the nights playing games. This little house in the woods is wonderfully appointed with everything you could possibly need. Such cute decor and super clean. We loved everything about it!

Beautiful property tucked off the road within a short drive of all the parks around the area. House was immaculate with every little thing thought of and provided for. This was our first time to this area and this property made it even more enjoyable.

Eclipse in the country

What a perfect place to watch the solar eclipse! I met family in the Zone of Totality and watched day turn to night on the deck of this perfect vacation rental. The house was comfortable and roomy, the setting was remote yet close to stores and restaurants, and the outdoor areas were relaxing and spread out. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. Very nice.

Perfect house

Property is set in a beautiful location out of town, but yet it was close to town and close to several attractions. The owner was quick to respond to questions. The house was amazing, very charming. We loved how the place was decorated. We all agreed we would like to go back again.

Secluded getaway

We loved this peaceful property. It was perfectly located for our plans to visit the local state parks. But even better for us was the secluded acreage. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck or at the fire pit, watching the wildlife, and walking the paths. We plan on returning with friends.

Isolated in a good way! Just a few minutes to everything we could want to do! Very clean! Good land for spreading out/outdoor games/firepit. Wouldn't change a thing!

Awesome location

Great house located near Ironton MO. The house was very clean, and contained all the necessary items we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching out for wildlife. Saw several deer and turkeys. Pellet grill works great, we cooked a couple Ribeye's and they turned out amazing. Great place to enjoy solitude away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
