"Little gem in the heart of bath. Staff were amazing and it was a nice treat to have a social on Tuesday that included cheese and wine. Did I mention the staff? Outstanding!"

"It was a girls trip and our first time staying at MacDonald Spa in Bath. It was a beautiful historical building, but unfortunately had things that were broken down. All that said, my friend and I went to the front desk and they immediately moved us to a different room, also providing some chocolates and prosecco. I believe we heard the hotel will be undergoing some renovations."

"Room was clean, but really needed updating, especially bathroom. So not as good as expected. Staff were polite. Didn't eat in restaurant, but one plus, there was an ice bucket in the room so just had to go down to bar to fill. Also water available at recepetion."

"The patio was completely removed and under construction, which I'm sure will benefit future travelers, but made the outdoor patio unavailable to us during our stay. Despite that, the views from our room were beautiful. We ate at the restaurant on-site and the food was very good. Continental breakfast was also nicely provided to start the day of adventuring. Staff were polite and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Onsite parking was the biggest deterrent. The parking slots were VERY close to one another, leaving very little room to maneuver and to get luggage and people in and out of the car once parked. The hotel is outside of the city of Bath, so if you are looking for a quiet stay, within close driving or busing distance, this is a great location for you!"

"The roof terrace is an amazing place to spend a warm evening. Room was spacious , clean and had air conditioning. Only downside, despite being on 7th floor, I could hear the traffic and nosies outside"
