「Schöne historische Anlage, gut gelegen!」

「Such a cute little lodge. Perfect for our family visit to Doolin. Bedrooms were nice and had comfortable beds. Perfect location to be able to walk to a few places. Amenities were as described. Would definitely stay here again if in Doolin. 」

「Bathrooms were tiny, had no mirrors and hot water did not work in one. Remote for one tv did not work. Lighting was poor in kitchen and dining room. Pull on one drawer was broken. Exposed wires in dining room. Cushions did not fit in living room. Needed better instructions for stove.」

「House was spotless, cosy and warm. The owner thought of little things you may forget to bring with you, condiments, cleaning stuff ect. The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island. We had such a nice time there and hope to return next summer when the weather is better. 」

「House was fantastic - immaculately clean and well-equipped. They had really thought about our arrival with the heating already on so it was lovely and warm. There was also a number of "welcome" items (box of cereal, milk, coffee teabags, biscuits and a lovely bottle of wine). 「Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. 「Perfect location to explore Connemara and a lovely property, beautifully renovated for a most comfortable stay. Lovely hosts with great suggestions and a playful dog to make us feel at home. We particularly loved fly fishing at Ballynahinch Castle (Hugh as our guide), exploring the Killary fjord area (scenic cruise was nice) and Kylemore Abbey, the ferry to Aran islands. 「The cottage was so cute from the outside but too modest for my husband and I on the inside. We ended up leaving after one night. We had planned on cooking at the house but I underestimated how small the kitchen was from the picture. There were also no paper towels to clean anything. The owner has a ring camera by the door and must have overheard us complaining so his cleaning lady came by the next day to check on us which was a nice gesture but a heads up would have been appreciated.
