「My family and friends loved loved loved our 8 day stay at this 500 year old castle. It’s not a place for everyone but if you like getting the feel for what life was like back in the day, then this is the place for you. The view is magnificent and luckily the weather was gorgeous our whole time so we could enjoy the views.Yes, it’s a little less than sparkling clean but where else can one hear birds roosting in the walls? It’s rustic and the stairs up to the top stretch one’s legs.Stephanie our...

「 This castle presented old world elegance and charm while teeming with 21st century amenities. A perfect blend of both worlds! The house and accommodations are absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. We were a group of 9 and had plenty of room to spare. Each person had a fabulous time. The host Eileen was on top of everything. She was very responsive and helpful. We had a few questions to which she provided spot on advice. Our entire family fully recommends...

「Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The location is very remote so you need to know you’ll be driving for any restaurants , etc. The check in process was not good BUT that was an Expedia/VRBO issue because they sent incorrect lock box and code info. Our host Joyce worked to fix that for future guests. Room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was ok - not great water pressure. WiFi really didn’t work anywhere in the home. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices. Thanks to our...
