Iona Abbey Tours

I lived on the Isle of Mull for a few months in 2003, so made it to Iona a few times.  The Abbey was under renovation at the time but most of it was open.  The ruins were very peaceful, as the tourist season had passed.

Lots of history here. Called the "cradle of Christianity" because Columba arrived here from Ireland in 539 to evangelize the Picts and Gaels.
