「Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.」

「Very nice and relaxing cabin! It is 20 min from the town and not much nearby so it’s very quiet. Everything was kept very clean. My son liked having his own room (although he complained the mattress wasn’t comfy he fell asleep fast). The hot tub was easy to use and clean. The only confusing part was Orbitz said check out was noon but the email from the owner said 11 the morning of so we had to rush out. I would definitely recommend this property though.」

「The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....
