We enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin for a girls trip. Was everything we needed and wanted and the perfect space for 3 adults. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and felt very comfortable, we also took the short walk to the river for a quick swim and we went out to explore Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown which were both an easy drive away (maybe 10 -20 minutes from the cabin depending). Hosts were gracious and very quickly responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend this cabin!
We had a very nice stay, the cabin was very comfortable, it's only a short walk to the river. The owners are very nice and helpful. It has wifi but no cell service, so a good place to relax. I really enjoyed driving on the windy roads, it's a beautiful area.
Wonderful location. Evenings were magical with complete quietness and lightening bugs all around. Grateful to be able to have our dog with us. Adorable cabin.
This property was perfect. I misread (completely my fault and thought it was river facing) but access was just perfect. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable. Loved the few mid-century touches and the heated floors in the bathroom. Close enough to town but just far enough out to enjoy the quiet.
Great experience. Cabin is as shown, very comfortable, easy access. 10 min to Shepherdstown, lots of great restaurants and shops there. Our dates ended up being over the severe cold/snow in January 2025, so we didn't do much hiking or anything on the river, but it was a lovely environment, very peaceful and cozy. Owners were super responsive when needed and very easy to work with. Would definitely go back in nicer weather!
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin and atmosphere was real nice ! The only issue was the livingroom furniture was very uncomfortable. I would like to make a suggestion of putting a grab bar in the shower for old people like us. Overall we had a great time!!
Enjoyed immensely, very clear info given before & on arrival. Cathy & Bryan add nice touches to the cabin. Our 2 dogs had fun & appreciated water bowls. Sightseeing was convenient, will definitely stay again when in area. Quiet sitting on the porch at night, saw quite a few deer. Liked relaxing at river front!
We had a fantastic four-night stay at this beautiful cabin. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Shepherdstown and Harper's Ferry and only a 2-minute walk to the river, which made it easy for us to explore the area. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and wonderfully appointed with thoughtful touches. We especially loved the morning coffee setup, comfy bed, and clean, modern bathroom.
The amenities were spot on, with a Roku TV for relaxing evenings, a fire pit (with provided wood!) for some great outdoor time. The cabin was easy to find and beautifully decorated. Overall, it was the perfect getaway, and we can't wait to come back!
Remote, peaceful setting yet convenient to activities and restaurants
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in great shape, very comfortable, so tastefully decorated, and I in particular loved the lighting in all the rooms. Lots of attention to detail, including doggy water bowls. We had no issues at all with Wifi or using our phones.
The river is a short walk down the road. This is a very peaceful setting except for the occasional fast car/truck. The cabin does sit close to the road.
We were a little hesitant because of the property having no oven, but between the microwave, the toaster oven, the grill and Shepherdstown restaurants, making or getting food was very manageable. Had we paid attention to the fact that a Chemex coffee maker was available, we would have made sure to bring the right filters. We managed with the drip coffee maker, which took a while.
All in all, we recommend this cabin and hope to try out some of their other properties in the future. The area is lovely.

The cabin was spotless and Owners had left many thoughtful amenities
We really enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean and well equipped. I liked how it was close to several towns with restaurants and shopping. The host was extremely responsive and helpful and a pleasure to work with.
My family enjoyed our stay at the cabin including having access to the river for morning coffee and playing board games in the evening after a day of tubing. The drive to the cabin was beautiful with lots of deer sightings.
The cabin is down right beautiful, the host were easy to contact and took care of all our needs. The wife and I enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and enjoyed all the wildlife, I haven't seen so many deer in my life. We will definitely book again in the future.
