The entry smelled of cigarette smoke and was dank/damp feeling. Older building but well kept. The check in instructions were unclear. "At first look, it's an absolutely stunning, clean, cozy place to stay. There were a few things though that were annoying. Firstly when you get your check in email it only shows you a picture of the inside of the location, which is super unhelpful when you're trying to find the place in a lot of 8 other cottages. When I called, the representative said they have like 2000+ properties, so as nice as he was, he was unhelpful in with assisting me in finding the place. To the buildings defense, there...

"The room was fine, clean and functional, though the window doesn’t open so it was a bit stuffy. Also, there is no soundproofing in the walls so you will hear what’s going on in the next room. This is an expensive area and this place is one of the cheaper hotels. The restaurant food was variable. The salmon on pea risotto was very good while the lemon tart was very forgettable. The staff were very good."
