"I was in Watkins Glen on business and didn't pay much attention to my housing. I'd rent it again. There's a Walmart just outside of town, the restaurants are unremarkable, there's a small marina, very limited shopping, and you need your own transportation. The locals have a drug problem. Watkins depends almost exclusively on tourism at the famous auto racing track and a park outside of town and is otherwise just a sleepy rural village in the middle of nowhere."

We lived on the covered outdoor patio (a huge plus) when we weren't touring all the local wineries. Not enough days to do everything we wanted, but the location was perfect!
