While the property was recently renovated. Everything is clean and beautiful. But in the rooms they put down throw rugs to use getting in and out of bed. These rugs ARE dangerous, because they slip and slide. Which I believe is going to eventually cause injury to someone. I almost fell getting out of bed. The rug shifted under me and I had to grab the bed to keep from hitting the floor.

We stayed at this location 50 years ago on the first night of our honeymoon and returned to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! When we checked in a very friendly, efficient and enthusiastic Jeff Bobbitt was so kind to upgrade us to suite and gave us vouchers for complimentary desserts. All the staff were wonderful and the suite was lovely. The food was delicious, both for supper and breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much, Thanks!

The room was clean, however our internet didn’t work in our room and we were unable to connect to Netflix. They said it’s been a known problem which I don’t understand why they would place anyone in that room. The bathroom sink would fill when we’re were brushing our teeth and the constructionist the building was a lot. Honestly this was not of the Marriott standards we’re use to and the area of the hotel was questionable.

I love this Hotel my husband and I stay at the Marriott East everytime we come into town its always so clean the beds are very comfortable the staff and housekeepers are awesome the manager is always there and he lets you know dont hesitate to ask for what you need or voice any concerns you may have he’ll deal with it asap!
