Good location, mixed experience

The hotel has a lot of potential. It’s well located in the city center, within walking distance of major cable car stations, with modern and cozy interior design and nice breakfast. However, for a 4-star hotel, we expected a much smoother and more reliable experience. Even before arrival, communication was stressful, I was asked to prepay parking and city tax via a link that didn’t work, which took nearly an hour to sort out. On arrival, we were told the main parking was full and sent to a second lot with the wrong address. When we eventually found it, the key card provided was expired. Calls to the hotel went unanswered, and by the time we returned, reception was closed (before the deadline), leaving us to park on the street. The room was clean and nicely decorated but very small for two people. The bathroom door hit the bed and could not be opened fully. The next morning at 07:44, housekeeping opened our door unannounced, a serious breach of privacy that woke us in shock. Staff apologised, waived one night of parking, and offered a free drink each at the hotel bar, which felt inadequate considering the level of inconvenience. Only after expressing our disappointment further were we given a room upgrade. A 4-star hotel should provide better communication (external and internal), guest support, and respect for privacy. With improvements in management and customer care, the hotel could truly live up to its potential, but our stay left us mostly frustrated than relaxed.

Wir waren mit Hund dort und haben uns wirklich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, man kann die Bergbahnen sogar zu Fuß erreichen. Es gibt einen kleinen Wellnessbereich, den wir aber nicht benutzt haben. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend; abends gut bis sehr gut!

Et veldig fint hotell

Et veldig fint hotell som ligger sentralt. God frokost inkludert i prisen. Parkering i kjeller for 8 euro. Litt lite liv i sentrum, og en del restauranter som var stengt siden det var sommer. Summercard for området ga gratis billetter til gondolene i området. God service både i resepsjonen og i restauranten. Kan absolutt anbefales!

Hotel in sehr guter Lage, freundlichea und hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmer sehr sauber und mit schöner Ausstattung. Von hier aus kann man alle Aktivitäten starten, Bushaltestelle an der Straße mit der man zu allen Attraktionen kommt. Viele Geschäfte, Restaurants und Bars in direkter Umgebung.

Trotz dem Risikogebiet Tirol sagte man uns am Freitag dass wir noch anreisen sollen. Sie haben ja schließlich noch bis Montag offen. Unverschämtheit. Wir hätten nicht auf eine Rückzahlung bestanden - eine Umbuchung ohne weitere Kosten weder für das Hotel noch für uns wäre ok gewesen. Aber das hat das Hotel abgelehnt und wollte uns ins Risikogebiet anreisen lassen. Das müsste man öffentlich publizieren.

A nice place but rude service - not going back.

A nice place with rude service. Clearly a family owned place where money matters more than service. We booked first 3 nights through Hotels.com and tried to extend our stay directly with the hotel - they were first not willing to extend our stay when they heard we cannot cancel the original reservation. Like it was my fault I got a better price elsewhere. The hotel and room itself were just okay, breakfast was good as you can expect with 350 EUR price per night, spa was very good. The location is excellent. On the last morning, they had no hot water and the only thing they did was just to offer to stay longer to wait for a shower. We had a flight to catch and could not wait. If I would be running the place I had offered a free ticket to nearby spa or a small discount. With 350 EUR price, you would expect to keep the hot water running no matter what.

Quarto e banheiro com bom tamanho. Restaurante do hotel tambem agradavel. Só faltava uma piscina aquecida ou uma hidromassagem para o "after ski". Fica uns 400 metros a pé da gondola, bem no centrinho de Solden.

Terrible room

We took Junior suite in order to enjoy our stay as much as possible and about one month in advance asked reception to get a room, which is not situated toward the Main Street and church, which is apron 30m away from window and really noisy during the night and early morning and we got confirmation about it. But after our arrival we got an room on the 1st floor situated to the street and really woked up every morning at 6am on the bells ringing next to our windows, what was really horrible. We've been to this hotel many times and this surprised us badly again, would re-consider our next stay in this hotel in the future

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr gemütlichen Zimmern. Die Einrichtung hat ein rustikales aber stilvolles Design. Ebenso ist das Essen sehr gut. Es gibt im Restaurant eine übersichtliche aber geschmackvolle Auswahl und die Speisen werden nicht nur sehr appetitlich angerichtet, sondern schmecken auch sehr gut. Ebenso erwähnenswert ist der schöne Spa-Bereicht. Saunagänger werden sich hier wohlfühlen. Wer ein paar Tage ausspannen möchte ist hier genau richtig.
