Just 3-4 miles from downtown attractions, this 3,500-square-foot craftsman home is centrally located and pet-friendly. Chef-dreamed gourmet kitchen with 8 burners and double ovens opens to the Great Room. Enjoy a private hot tub, pool table, and two Jacuzzi tubs.



    Travel 8 minutes to Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort, enjoy skiing, snow-tubing, zip-lining, and the gondola. For more adventure, head to the South Lake Tahoe El-Dorado Recreation Center for swimming, hiking, and biking. This home is conveniently located in the Montgomery Estates, one of the finest neighborhoods of Lake Tahoe. A short drive brings you to downtown shops and eateries, the ski slopes, hiking/biking trails, lake shores, and casinos at Stateline. All 3-4 miles away!

I recently stayed at this wonderful home for 5 days with friends and family, and we had a fantastic time. The house was very clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and amenities we wanted to visit. One of the highlights was the spacious yard, which was perfect for our dog to run around and play. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would love to come back in the future. Highly recommended!

House is big, beautiful and most importantly clean! I’m very picky when I comes to how clean bathrooms and the kitchen are at places. Everything was spotless when we arrived. We loved the home. It was beautiful and clean. Beds were comfortable. The only thing we were missing were fans. The week we went to Tahoe was very warm and the home was hot without fans to move the air. Ceiling fans would make a huge difference.

Beautiful home. The pictures do not do it justice. Plenty of space with great amenities. Gorgeous details in this home. Although there are two spaces for to visit with your family, the main floor could use seating for more than for 5. There is nothing more that I would change about this house. Great stay for group, close drive to Heavenly

House was very nice and well kept. Pool/ping pong table was a great for entertaining. Kitchen was nice and large to feed many guests. I had a total of 7 who all slept comfortably. I wish I would have brought more. Maintenance was very quick to respond when we needed the hot tub adjusted. Highly recommend.

Perfect for two families

We stayed at this house for 5 days over Thanksgiving and it was perfect. We were two families with kids ranging from 12 to 21 and two dogs. There was ample space for everyone to spread out, a pool table for the kids and adults, a fantastic kitchen for cooking that was well stocked with equipment. The fireplace was lovely for sitting and watching movies together and the hot tub was wonderful for soaking at night. Also, the proximity was perfect - less than 10 mins drive to Heavenly, and all the action of South Lake Tahoe. We couldn’t have asked for more! We’ll definitely be back!

It is a beautiful home. We did find towels behind the washer. Thought the refrigerator should have been turned on sooner. Took too long to get cold. We did have a great time with our stay there. Very comfortable. Loved the shower with the jets.

Family ski trip

This house is very nice and clean, and can accommodate up to 12…. The hot tub was very much appreciated after a day of skiing… Although the house is not down town, Uber/lyft was readily available and reasonable if needed. The two car garage was clean/cleared and it turned out to be valued because we had a big snow and were able to park in the garage . We parked in the high rise public parking lot by the gondola which was an easy 7 min drive. Overall we had a great trip and would certainly rent this property again. The pictures do represent how nice the house is!

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time in your house. Its in a great location for acces to Heavenly and the house was great. Only issues we had:Didn't find the dishsoap, sponge til we were leaving so washing dishes was challenging. They should have been located under the sink or at least near the sink. We couldn't find sheets for the hide-a-bed and the hot tub could have been warmer. Also we wanted a late checkout and didn't realize there was a cutoff time as to when you could arrange that. I would have been nice to know.

Wonderful home for family gathering.

I absolutely loved this beautiful home for a family gathering of 3 of our adult children and their families (and their 2 dogs). Two of the 5 bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom for added privacy. The game room with pool/ping pong table were a big hit, as was the separate downstairs living area with fireplace and kitchenette (in addition to the main level living room/dining area and large kitchen). Perfect set up for different family members to engage in their own activities at different times. Plenty of room to prepare and share meals together. The office off the kitchen was perfect for family members who had to check in with work-related meetings. Hot tub was a popular bonus. All with ski slopes within 15 minutes! Will definitely come again.

Holiday family get-away

House was clean and roomy with a very nice kitchen and bathrooms. About 8-minute drive to Heavenly ski resort and 12-minute drive to stateline. Pool table was covered by ping pong top and the ping pong equipment was old and in bad condition. We didn't want to try to move the ping pong top so we didn't use it. Hot tub didn't stay very hot once the jets starting circulating. Gas BBQ was functional but very dirty (we left it way cleaner than we found it). The driveway looks much longer in the photo than it is; definitely 2-car maximum. It is nice to have the additional 2 inside garage spots, especially in the winter!

Great but not perfect

There are some flaws which we noticed with lights and appliances, which made us think the place was rushed to market being not quite finished, but the essential experience was very good. Internet is fast, walls are thick, beds are comfortable. Pool table was a blast, if lacking chalk, and the ping pong net is broken but we still had fun with it. Location is close to the lake and there are trails all around. Our trip was in August but the heat was never any problem. The community rules about parties and guests are very off putting and strict and scary but the actual apparent enforcement is reasonable. The owners are a remote business called "Vacasa" which I usually worry about but they were pretty responsive to our communications. All in all, I was satisfied

Great place needs some attention.

FYI this listing is managed by Vacasa. You might save some money if you try to book direct with Vacasa instead of VRBO. I stayed at the rental for a week with my family. The house and location are great. Large kitchen and two living rooms. Then only bedroom upstairs is the master and the rest are downstairs. The downstairs living room was great for watching movies. The hot tub and pool table are great. The check-in was a little rough, we showed up before the cleaners did and the place was not ready until 1.5 hours after the checkin time. The kitchen could have been stocked better and the place needs a little maintenance. The dimmer in one of the bedrooms prevented the lights turning off in one of the bedrooms. And the downstairs bathroom vent seemed to blow bathrooms air into the downstairs instead of out of the house. The vent ducting may be disconnected in the wall. I tried to leave a review on Vacasa but it seems impossible on their platform. I would stay here again!

High Meadows Gem Review

Overall, the house was magnificent. I would definitely stay there again. It was roomy with just about all the amenities. Really enjoyed the pool table downstairs. The one thing that puzzled me is when I was reading a previous review of the property, there was a discussion about the ping pong table was great fun, but the ping pone table net was in bad shape and needed replaced. Before I arrived at the property, I inquired about the ping pong table because it was not listed in any of the description of the amenities of the property. I received a reply stating that there was NO ping pong table. Well my boys and I love to play ping pong so I bought and hauled my own pool table-top ping pong table to the house (I only live about 1 hour and 20 min away). To my surprise, as soon as I walk in and go downstairs to the pool table, there is a ping pong table on top of the pool table. All of the nets in the drawers were in bad shape but my set had a nice ping pong net so we used that one. Just not sure why they messaged me back saying there was NO ping pong table. Other than that, the house was great and would definitely stay there again.

We booked this house for a family reunion and it was the perfect space for us. Everyone had their own space and there was never an issue with waiting for bathrooms. We had 10 adults and 2 kids staying. Location was pretty close to everything you'd need (especially the casinos if you're into gambling). Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Home

We had an amazing stay! It was extremely spacious, which was perfect for our family to spread out and relax. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—kitchen essentials, extra blankets, towels, and even games for the kids. It was clean, cozy, and clearly well cared for.
