「I’ve never stayed at a place like this before! 」

「Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam. Broke three ribs prior to travel and so was unable to travel as was finding it difficult to walk. I realise a booked a non-refundable ticket, and requested a change of date. I thought that the hotel would have had a bit of sympathy for my situation. But no, they refused to move the date. This room could easily have been...

「The room is situated in a very nice house on one of the amsterdam bridges. From architectural point of view is fantastic. However if you have a large suitcase forget to bring it to the room as you have a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. Concerning noise, you will have the live with the tram crossing the bridge ... that is quite loud and you will have light very early as the blinds are not blocking the sun. For us all those points were some how acceptable as the place is lovely....

「Great place, with excellent and fast support and the comfiest bed and pillows」

「Lovely, clean room on a quiet street in De Pijp, near shops, restaurants and Metro. A short walk to museums and concert hall. We were there during a heat wave and so grateful for the air conditioning. The private balcony was great for breakfast on cool mornings. Ruud and Lisa were extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive, and even found time for a canal tour on their small boat, which was a highlight. As they clearly stated, the stairs are steep, as typical of those older Amsterdam...

Very Clean, comfortable and well equipped, near Centraal station. Easy to get around either walking or by transportation. Evert was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with check in and check out. Would highly recommend this beautiful apartment. 」
