"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"This place is just wonderful. It is finished to a high standard and is very comfortable and homely. It is situated in a very quiet location and is only 10 minutes from the seaside at Paignton. It is ideally positioned to explore Torbay and the surrounding areas and allows you to escape to the peace and quiet of the countryside at the end of your day. "The room was spotless, but housekeeping had failed to register a failed lightbulb in the bathroom and the fact that one curtain had come unhooked in 2 places making it difficult to draw."

"Booked this under the VIP banner which allowed me free drink from their restaurant bar. The staff greeted me in a friendly manner and directed me to my room. I had booked a ground floor room which had the benefit of a patio door leading to an outdoor dining area which will be fantastic in the Summer. It also meant I could park my vehicle just a few feet away from the patio door which was massively convenient. The room and hotel itself is really well decorated and clean and my room had a great A/C system and fridge. I used the hotel gym which was not big but was functional and allowed for a good cardio and weights workout with only myself and one of patron using it for the duration of my time in there. There were plenty of dining options within a few miles of the well-situated hotel. I had a great night's sleep and breakfast the next morning was really nice to top off a fantastic stay all round."

"Lovely clean room. Great that you can turn the shower on without having to reach into the shower and get wet. Staff friendly and welcoming. Checked for us to see if room was ready so we were able to check in early. So happy to be close to the Exeter Chiefs ground, very handy. Lovely bar area, good choice of bar food and drinks. Definitely would stay again and would recommend. Great that the parking is free also. "
