"Loved having a fridge during my week long stay. Didn’t have a problem with anything. Met some cool people. Would say to make sure to put a note(provided by property) on your food, I forgot and it was tossed within a few hours. Corner stores nearby for shopping, Main Street (Karl Johan) is a block over, very central location. 5-7 minutes walk to operate house. The clothes rack on the wall was very loose and about to fall out so if you get something like that, just take pics or a video in case to cover you. Didn’t have an issue. "We rented a two-bedroom apartment for our 3-night stay in Oslo. Location of the apartment was fantastic and quiet. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities for cooking, which we did not use. I had a little trouble with the second room—the overhead light would not stay on (so I used the light beside the bed) but the bathroom light worked fine. There was a nightlight that came on automatically—very helpful. Also, my shower would not turn on but the shower in the main bedroom did so it was not a problem. There was paid parking right next to the building—very convenient! Since it was our first stay in Norway, there was a steep learning curve, but the person I called at Vanderbilt was able to answer my question about where we were allowed to park."

"Nice hotel on the outer rim of the central city in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to most places. The hotel was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, If you are travelling by car try and make sure that you secure a hotel park if you can, there are only eight of them and on street parking is horrifically expensive if you miss out on a hotel park, which we did on the first day but managed to get one the next day. The shower was typical of European / Scandinavian showers, it leaked everywhere across the floor. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet hotel close to the centre of Oslo"
