Away from the hustle and bustle of some of our busier coastal towns Hythe is perfect for those wanting a traditional seaside holiday without noisy arcades and tacky shops. There's still plenty to do, Hydrangea House is just a short jaunt from the sea. It has a wonderful pebbled beach but there are sandy areas for buckets and spades too. The promenade, approximately 2 miles in length is perfect for walking and cycle rides or simply sitting and watching the fisherman try their luck. Dogs are welcomed along most sections of the beach making us a fantastic hound-friendly destination too. If you tire of the sea then take a boat ride down the Military Canal; take the miniature train to Dymchurch or explore the High Street with its quaint mix of tea shops, cafes, antique and vintage stores or head out on an adventure to one of the many local attractions.
Off Road parking available, we can't reserve a space but there are no parking permits! Drop kerb space available for short stay parking on arrival for unloading. Buses stops just 2mins away, numerous to local destinations Folkestone to London St. Pancras just 50mins!
We want you to have a great time at Hydrangea House - you're on holiday after all but our neighbours might not be. We need to remind you that we're not a party house (at any time of day or night) and like any quality hotel, please respect our quiet zone between 23.00 and 09.00, it's a quiet residential street and noise travels easily.
