My little cottage was private and comfortable. It was super quiet and had a peek-a-boo view of the fjord through the trees. I loved the trails on the property. Being a bird watcher, I appreciated that my cabin had a bird identification book. The bathroom was snug but functional.

The lovely property is a real nature lovers delight. The cottages have extraordinary views right from the porch to the bay and mountains. Many birds. Peaceful. Close to Husavik for whale watching tours.

The cottage itself is very cozy and clean. The grounds were beautiful, with nature walks, natural thermal hot tubs, and very secluded from traffic. The owner was very friendly and great to talk to. We would have loved to stay longer!

A quiet and peaceful location in a beautiful setting which was perfect for our 2 night stay in the area in this cosy cabin. The hot tubs were delightful; 3 of them in varying temperatures; idyllic settings overlooking stunning scenery. The nature reserve had well established footpaths to follow. Directions and communications from the owners was excellent. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay in the northern Iceland

We recommend these cottages for your stay in the northern part of Iceland. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable (only shower was quite small). It was perfectly clean and well prepared for our arrival. Location of cottages is excellent, many interesting places in this part of Iceland are close and to be reached easily by car. There are also 3 hot tubs that guests can use. The best relax during sunset with amazing view to the lake.

Veel te duur voor wat het is!

Dit is een soort van blokhut die helemaal afgeleefd is. De “badkamer” is super klein en vuil. Bed was niet bereikbaar van twee kanten dus iedereen wakker als je uit bed moet. Was één van de duurste overnachting in Ijsland en absoluut te vermijden.

Des petits chalets en bois tres cosy avec tout le confort ( kitchenette, micro-ondes, vaisselle). Le wifi fonctionne tres bien. Nous avons passé 2 jours extraordinaires au Kaldsbad Kot : Il y a des jaccuzzi accessibles 24/24. Et on peut faire du barbecue : il y a un barbecue avec du charbon de bois, des allumes feu et des allumettes dans le chalet. Il y a des jumelles à disposition pour observer les oiseaux. Les propriétaires sont tres agréables et peuvent vous donner des conseils. C'est vraiment une super adresse.

Fantastiskt härligt boende i en mysig liten stuga av furu. En helt underbar utsikt från altanen och fågellivet är enormt häftigt. Rekommenderar frukosten, god och personalen mycket vänlig.

Sehr lohnenswert und erholsam, tolle Unterkunft

Es war sensationell. Toller Aufenthalt, sehr gemütlich, alles da, was man braucht und dann noch Hottube und Boot👌👌👌, was will man mehr. In den Betten haben alle mega gut geschlafen und die Küche war auch sehr gut ausgestattet. Toll durchdacht!

Fantastische locatie. Cabin is echter klein en met bijzonder weinig comfort. Er is een gemeenschappelijke keuken met bijzonder weinig uitrusting voor 16 cabins en de hygiëne laat te wensen over (vooral in het keukengedeelte).

Really enjoyed Tiny cottages. A little crowded in bedroom area but ok. View was extraordinary. Hot tubs were so so. Monika was excellent and the most helpful as we had car issues and she went out of her way to help find a mechanic etc. we will happily stay again in cabin # 4. Thank you Monika!!

Fantastic place

Wonderful place! Such a beautiful stretch of wild Iceland and so well maintained. I especially enjoyed birdwatching. My cottage was well equipment and very comfortable.
