The property was not in acceptable condition. Even in the lobby, the ceiling was sagging and there was visible fungal growth on the ceiling that was dark in color. The hotel smells super musty. The lamp in the room was rusted, as there is an obvious moisture issue throughout the hotel. Staff was friendly and immediately said they would refund us. It was obvious they understood why and have had experience with unsatisfied customers. We left and went elsewhere.

Pros - dog friendly, clean comfortable beds, kind and helpful staff Cons - outdated and not well kept up, the pool was not maintained and gross It worked as a place to sleep but I wouldn’t stay here again

Staff was helpful — kids enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms weren’t clean, however. There was mold in our room and mold on the ceiling in the lobby. The was a moldy, mildewy smell just about wherever we went. The pool wasn’t clean either. The safety certificate in the elevator was expired by several months as well. The redeeming factor was the staff — they were helpful and accommodating.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past several years. It has declined significantly. Water pressure was very low. Sink leaking onto the floor. Very limited towels and wash cloths. Bathroom fan very loud. Food was unappetizing. Coffee was warm at best. TV channels very biased and limited. Time for me to find a better place to stop.

Breakfast was one of the best in this class of hotel. The sausage was flavorful and the eggs will not watery. I would highly recommend this place to stay in if only for the breakfast. The room rate was also very affordable.

The property was really run down. Our first room had a busted AC unit and smelled really musty. However, the staff was amazing and helped with everything! Breakfast was very basic. We came down an hour before it closed, and there was absolutely nothing to drink. The waffle maker didn’t cook the waffles all the way through. It was definitely let down.

Water was lukewarm and never reached “warm” much less “hot” temperature. This review is for 6/17/26 I might as well been camping since I essentially had to take a spit bath the water was so cold. Also the amenities are single size. Not enough shampoo or conditioner for 2 people.

The best part was the pet-friendliness and the welcoming staff. However, the certification for the elevator was expired and it took about 30 min to find a room where the electronic door opener worked or worked dependable. We had to move with dogs from the 2nd to the 3rd floor.

Samara’s hostel. Hallway lights out or flickering. Wet carpet. Rust everywhere. Sink spraying water all around. Hairdryer doesn’t work. Fridge (or something) ticking like a sped up clock all night. Just a mess of a property.
