Very friendly staff - gave tips and helpful suggestions while around the town. Stay is simple - but having an open mindset regarding the location, it was enough for my needs.

Frank was awesome! We had a family emergency and he went above and beyond! He checked to see if we could get on the latest Perurail at 10pm!! They made room for 3 more passengers so we could get back to Cusco. Job well done!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa del Sol. Maylin in particular was super friendly, patient, and always willing to help when we needed directions or had questions getting around. She made everything a lot easier. There was also a man who helped us with our bags as soon as we got off the train. He was incredibly welcoming and set a really good first impression for the hotel. The room was comfortable and the location was great. A beautiful view of the river running along the rear of the hotel greeted us from our room. The only thing I wished we had known ahead of time is that if you turn the thermostat all the way down, it can freeze up when it’s humid and cause a big leak when it melts. Not a huge deal, but it would’ve been nice to get a heads-up. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back.
