We came down from out of state to a friends destination wedding. This place was everything we needed! So cozy, and close to everything. Not to mention waking up to be surrounded by such a beautiful lake!

Nice Stay at Smith Mountain Resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Allison's property. It is perfectly maintained, easily accessible and provided a great night's sleep. Virtually all of our time was spent with relatives in the area so this easily met our primary concern for a safe, clean and quiet place. As there are very few hotels in the immediate area, Allison's offering turned out to be a very positive alternative. We would stay there again.

Perfect place for two

Property worked for us. Attention to detail was lacking in recent renovations and cleaning but did not detract from our overall experience.Owners suggestions about local restaurants was spot on and we enjoyed several meals at Bruno's Clubhouse. Public areas were all very nice and well maintained.

My boyfriend and minuture golden doodle spent the weekend at this condo for my birthday. We absolutely loved it. It’s perfect for 2! Allison was super good communicating which made it even better. We WILL be back

Great little lake studio

The studio unit has everything you need for a quick little getaway. The property was immaculately clean and well-appointed with all the necessities. The property is beautiful and you can walk around to little courtyard beside the building and be right on the water. Bonus surprise is the unbelievably good water pressure in the shower! The hosts made sure we could access everything easily & maintained great communication to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank you Allison & Michael!

SML Home Tour 23

Room was convenient for pet—close to entrance and on main level but space was too small, bed should be placed on different wall to improve space. Very few kitchen utensils and no table to share a meal. Room is expensive for what you get—once fees, taxes, cleaning fees, etc. are tallied.

Adequate but nothing special

Mariners Landing was a great location and amenities were top notch. A little disappointed in the unit. The freezer had ice build up and was unusable. I like that the unit was handicap accessible but would not be able to get a wheelchair in bathroom with cabinet in the way. Needs decent drapes and bedding definitely could us an upgrade. Kitchen was well furnished. Missed having outside area. So this would not be for us next time around.

The property was extremely clean. The owner was easily accessible and instructions were very clear. We enjoyed some time sitting outside next to the lake Sunday afternoon. It was really nice. The shower was “the best” and the towels were really heavy. The studio met our needs for the weekend.
