It was a unforgettable experience stay in this hotel, the admin lady was so kind and helpful, the patio was the best part I love, we enjoyed the best sunset in there, wish I could have another chance to go back.
Love this location. So lovely - the patio is magical at night to watch the world go by in the bay.
The furniture in the room is vintage - so opening and closing the dresser was difficult and hence not used. Having a mini fridge is great.
The shower is small - but water pressure is good Overall would visit again
Staff was excellent and responsive. Checking in was well planned and simple Enjoyed the patio -but perhaps a sign asking the guests to put away the cushions after use to keep them dry would be helpful or have the staff put them away - impossible to use wet seat cushions Location is truly lovely and the restaurant food and staff were amazing. I hope to return. A hidden gem for me.
We absolutely loved our stay at Tuna Blue. The room was spacious, clean, bed was comfortable. Coffee maker in the room and milk in the fridge. Million dollar view from the balcony. As for the restaurant…amazing. Best of all was the staff. Oh, and a short walk up the road to the Shore Club and the ice cream stand on the way to the beach. If you’re looking for a genuine feel for the real Nova Scotia this is the place. Need I say…highly recommended.
Great location and view. Restaurant on site was convenient and good food.
Hotel rooms were ok. A nice touch would have been bottles of water in room. Also a night light in the room or bathroom. Very dark and hard to maneuver at night.
Odd that restaurant kitchen is open to hotel hallway… very loud in rooms, lots of yelling and noise coming from kitchen, but not too late. Also food smell a little overpowering due to open kitchen into the hotel.
The room was fine for my wife and I, with a fridge and coffee machine, plus a good TV. It was clean, with extra blankets and pillows. Another larger garbage can in the room itself would be useful as the bathroom wastebasket was small and quickly filled, but that’s a very minor detail. The staff were friendly upon checking in. It’s a good location for day tripping along the South Shore, and the upper deck has a gorgeous harbour view.
There should be parking designated for customers staying at the Inn. The staff were very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our room especially the original wood mouldings and old shutters. We enjoyed the restaurant and the entertainment intent was excellent.
Great place, room was beautiful, comfortable and clean with an amazing view. We also ate in the restaurant and it was fantastic. We attended the Shore Club and it was quick walk from Inn which was great
Overall a great experience
Beautiful location, great staff and service. Room was clean and comfortable. Could use a new shower head - just a dribble of water comes out of the shower.
This location was off the beaten path but a nice little gem with a picturesque water view, restaurant and small marina. The staff were friendly, the accommodations comfortable and clean for an older facility.
