The dinner we ordered was excellent and to order the best meal we had on our trip so far. Everything was locally sourced and made by Kayce herself. She was literally just a text message away. 「ホテルの数がそもそも少ないエリアですので、選択の余地がない部分もあることを考えると、申し分ないと思います。ホテルは新しくはないですが、十分に手入れされていて、掃除も綺麗に行われていると思います。バスアメニティや朝食の内容など、若干、値段と見合わないと感じました。朝食は、典型的な英国の朝食ではありますが、塩味が強くて、もう少し野菜が多くあってもよいと思い巻いた。」

「清潔度・快適さなどハード面ではカークウォールでトップクラスのホテルだと思います。朝食なども十分なものでした。唯一残念なのはとにかくフロントに係員がいない。朝昼夜問わず不在が多く、その度、同じ建物内のパブに行って言伝なければならず、待ち時間を含め人的な面でのサービスでスムーズさはありません。ですがその点を除けば価格に見合った設備と内容だと思います。」

「Very nice property, with a seemingly recently refurbished reception, lobby, and restaurant area. The staff at the front desk, as well as in the restaurant, were impeccable, courteous, friendly, and highly accommodating. Payment was, however, a bit complicated, as you could not pay at the table and instead had to walk to the bar or reception. The POS terminal was also experiencing connectivity issues. Luckily, we had some cash on us. The view of the harbour and the sea is truly beautiful....

「カークウォール港の正面に位置するホテルです。レストランとバーの使い勝手が非常に良く、レストランは非常に美味しく、朝食ではコンチネンタルスタイルや地元のお魚の燻製を焼いたものを選択することが可能です。オススメは魚です。バーではSCAPAの複数のカスクものが楽しめます。部屋は古いですが、コンパクトで使い勝手は良く不満な点はありません。ホテルスタッフは情報豊富でレストランの相談やタクシー等の予約も難なくお願いできました。早朝のフェリーに乗ることを伝えたところ、朝のお弁当も作ってくれました。非常に助かりました。」
