Needs a good overhaul
I debated on this review, so I’ll be very honest with pros and cons.
The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that the house had a security gate (which is great), but it was because it was in a rough part of town. The smell in the house was that of mildew and/or moth balls. The pictures, although it looked like the house technically, were deceiving. This house could use a serious paint job, furniture upgrade (cheap and breaking), and maintenance.
Immediately there was a roach on the wall when I first walked in. Throughout our stay we found 3 roaches, which made me nervous to inadvertently bring them home with us.
The bathroom water from the sink did not work, and there was a bucket under the sink due to its leaking that we had to empty. We also felt the need to buy our own cleaning products and clean the house prior to staying.
The bathroom has holes in the walls from the toilet paper rack being ripped out so many times, plus needed a desperate paint job.
The dishwasher smelled and needs cleaning, and although the refrigerator was empty, it could use a deep cleaning as well.
Beds were uncomfortable, but did the job. There is 1 tv in a 3 bedroom house, which mostly only had telemundo to watch.
However, with all the being said, it was inexpensive and gave us a place to sleep. If I would have seen the place prior to booking, I wouldn’t have booked it.
