「First impression was WOW!
Our rooms were so comfy and cosy I wish we had stayed longer. The bed was extremely comfortable and the surrounding area was excellent for coffee, shopping and walks.」
「The cabin was clean and comfortable but poorly insulated as the heater struggled to keep it warm. There were plenty of blankets, so we didn’t feel the cold at night. The TV remote control didn’t work. The site is well situated next to the river and provides good cooking facilities with a fully equipped camp kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. The whole area was teaming with bird life. 」

「Enjoyed collecting and roasting chestnuts picked from the grounds. Quiet. Lovely deciduous trees which are mature size. Good quality fittings and soaps and lotions which adds to the experience. Drove to the surrounding mountains and nut groves. Autumn is a great time to enjoy Bright. 」

We choose one of the spa rooms, a little pricier but the rooms have a north facing patio, are bigger and at the quiet rear of the property.
Property is a 2 minute drive to town or 20 mins walk.
Free wifi is available. The speed seemed ok.
One criticism is the bed size is only double. We would prefer a queen or king option and would pay extra for that. The rooms are big enough to...
