Very nice room, updated and comfortable. No maid service but we did not mind this at all. Fresh towels were always available. Only spoke with staff on check in. Asked for breakfast recommendations and only received info for chains like Dunkin. We were hoping for local breakfast places. Found some by looking on-line. Pillows were very uncomfortable and sheet quality was poor. However, everything was very clean. Overall this was a fine room.

Liked the location of the property - close to Horseheads restaurants, etc.. Like others have posted, it can be a little difficult to locate in the dark, but once you've figured that out it's fine. Staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help out. The room was clean and everything functioned well. The fitness center isn't an actual fitness center, but if you need that you can make the short trek to Horseheads Planet Fitness. About a 20–25-minute trip to wineries at the south end of Seneca Lake. A no-frills Inn, but definitely worth the money and will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Valley Trail Inn. The newly renovated rooms felt almost brand new—spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our visit. You really can't beat the location, either. It's super convenient to all the local sights including the famous Watkins Glen State Park, great food, and nearby wineries. An absolute gem and a great value for the price. We will definitely be back!

Very nice motel room. Surprisingly large, the mattress, bedding, and pillow pillows are comfortable. Each bed has three pillows of different firmness and type, so there is a pillow for everyone’s preference.
