"Very clean and nice set up. We had issues with the microwave and no hot water while we were there and Vacasa was very responsive and gave us a total of 20% off our weekend stay. No hot water was a bummer but I think they tried pretty hard to work it out for us, it was just too last minute. Also we recommend you don’t park across from the neighbors driveway. We got a dent in our side door we assume from someone coming out of their driveway."

"I loved this property as it was in the heart of the Garifuna culture. Once you get your bearings and just smile and walk the street and beach, you find amazingly friendly people. The room was simple and functional with a large balcony overlooking the street and beach. Drums banged away until 9PM and stopped sharply. "The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend."
