"Paul, who was working the desk when I checked in was welcoming and very helpful. He truly is an asset to this property. I travel a lot, stay in hotels a lot. One thing I notice is if the corners in the bathroom are clean or if the floor was just mopped, and the water left standing in the corners. My room was impeccably, clean, even the corners in the bathroom. The only issue that I had and it’s very minor, is that there is no stopper in the sink. I wear contacts and have to rinse them off in the sink. My fear was that I would drop it and it would be gone. The solution was to just put a washcloth over the drain. I will definitely stay at this Baymont when I am back in Traverse City."

"Be aware of scams - part of our door frame was broken when we checked in, which we didn't think much of. It's a budget motel so we knew it wasn't going to be glamorous and we didn't complain. They ended up charging us $100 - more than the price of the room - afterwards. After calling, they insisted that we broke the door frame and would not refund us the $100. We don't like to complain, but now we are paying the price for that. I really don't recommend this place."

"The building and rooms are definitely a bit outdated. However, the location and parking are what makes this our go to. We have stayed here a few times now and will probably continue to return. The bathrooms are a little odd how they are set up, but the beds are nice and comfy. The room was overall very clean."
