Staff is really nice and helpful allowed us to check in early. Bar and pool vibes are great and everyone seemed to enjoy the area. Only concern is the room not being cleaned well. Skid marks inside toilet bowl upon arriving, dried up roach on the door and a strong moldy scent in the room with flies. Bedding looks like it could be replaced as well.

The front desk agent was excellent. Several rooms weren’t ready at checkin time, but he handled the situation perfectly. The pool area is a nice little oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle of Waikiki. Loved the swings at the pool bar.

Pick your room wisely. Had me in a king room directly above a speakeasy that plays music until 1 a.m. for two out of four nights. Should just advertise it for people wanting to party down as it was a large room. Housekeeping, and front desk staff, no matter what time of day, were great, and very accommodating. Tons of amenities, and clean rooms. Proximity is close to beach and shopping. purchase earplugs if you draw the short straw.

we really enjoyed our stay at the white sands hotel. the staff was very friendly, and the hotel was well located downtown for a very reasonable price. our room took a little long to get ready (past check in time) but one of the managers more than made up for it by kindly giving us $50 food/drink credits. great service, great hotel and would absolutely recommend!

The bell hops carried my heavy luggage. Garfield at the front desk helped me find your hotel when I was COMPLETELY LOST AT NIGHT WITHOUT A FUNCTIONING CELLPHONE. And your room was beautiful ! Plus the bed was very comfortable. And I really appreciated having a microwave in the room.
