As an added bonus, we have our unit well equipped for any adventure you might take during your stay. Some of these many items include: beach cooler, pool toys, boogie boards, amazing backpack style beach chairs, sand toys and snorkel gear. Laundry services are a just steps down the hall and super convenient with the use of an app on your phone.

Our condominium complex not only keeps you safe with round-the-clock security but also saves your wallet with complimentary parking (worth $25+/day). Well equipped, close to the beach and other activities. Elevators were busy but fast. Parking stalls are tight so recommend smaller cars. T.V.was a little hard to figure out if you are not technically inclined. We did not use the TV much. There was too much else to do. The space was small but and well laid out. Perfect location in Waikiki

This condo was an amazing find. It was not only more cost effective than other lodging in the area, but the size of the space was far more accommodating, as we were a party of three. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the sunrise / sunset views from the lanai were incredible. All of Waikiki’s offerings are comfortable, short walking distance away (including the beach of course.) To make it even better, the included parking (which is a rarity) was super convenient!! I really hope to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful spot for a family vacation

Perfect condo for our family’s week vacation in Waikiki. This condo is very clean and had plenty of room for our family of four. The beach chairs and snorkel gear were an added bonus as well. It’s in a great location with plenty to do within walking distance. Would love to stay here again.

Best Location

Loved this condo! It was the perfect location! A short walk to Waikiki Beach and so many shops and restaurants to try in the evenings. The free parking was so convenient. The condo was clean and updated. Loved the view as well. So nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas as well. Also, the owners were very responsive and helpful when we had a couple of questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the stay was excellent. The room, the parking situation, location etc.was great. The only irritating, frustrating issue was the elevators. Whatever is going on with this issue, where people are having to wait for 15 mins @ times for an elevator has to be corrected. The condo was nice. We liked having a kitchen and the kitchen had everything we needed. The condo was well stocked with items to use on the beach. The beach was a short walk away. The view was nice. The elevators seemed to take a very long time. The property amenities were quite dated (pool area/ bbq area). It was noisy at night but that’s part of being in the city I guess. We had a great stay.

Great family vacation

I stayed with my four daughters for a week. It had everything we needed. We never felt cramped. Great location within walking distance to the beach. My youngest daughter loved the pool. I enjoyed the hot tub. The app for laundry was confusing so I ended up getting quarters at the lobby desk. Much better! Highly recommend. Can’t beat the free parking as well. Thank you!

Great beach and mountain views. A great price for Christmas week compared to most places plus free parking! It was just a few blocks walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. It is at the quieter end of Waikiki which was nice. Loved there was a beach umbrella, chairs, snorkeling gear and toys to borrow. All things we didn't want to travel with. Our only wish was there were more bath towels available. We had 4 for 5 people. Luckily we could use the provided beach towels and laundry was just down the hall with a great app to pay and track the time. Had everything else we needed and would stay again.

The Banyan prices soar property declines

I have stayed at the Banyan more than 10 times. The price has more than doubled. 1. BBQ’s now need to be booked 24 hours ahead of time, I didn’t find this out until we were on the deck with raw meat. The security was not helpful. The chairs included were great. The images on VRBO showed nice boogie boards but the items in the unit were sub par. Coolers snorkeling equipment and sunscreen were fantastic. Coffee and sugar were a great start. 3:00 check in is ridiculous. At 10:00 am on our last day cleaner was at the door.

Good home base for Oahu

My partner and I planned two weeks in Hawaii. First week Kauai second week Oahu. Honolulu was a big change from our other experiences visiting Hawaii. It was sort of like the 60’ and 70’s era high rises meets the Las Vegas strip all set in paradise. This condo was dated but one of the best values and still quite nice. Free parking was a huge plus. The view, beds, kitchen, and TV were all top notch. Location was pretty perfect as we left Honolulu most days and explored the rest of the island. Could get everywhere in between 30 and 75 minutes. Food and groceries in the neighborhood were plentiful and more than we expected. Communication with management was great although handled mainly off VRBO which took a minute to get comfortable with. Otherwise they were timely, concise, and helpful. Would absolutely rent from them again. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Convenient Location, but Noise and Elevator Issues Diminish the Experience

Our stay at this property had its highlights: the location was convenient, and the amenities were as described. Haller’s Coastal Homes was responsive to two initial issues. The first was a slow-draining bathtub upon arrival, which they addressed promptly by sending a plumber the next day. The second was a scheduled water and drainage shutoff, for which we were notified only the afternoon prior. While the short notice was very inconvenient, Haller’s Coastal Homes worked with the property owner to secure us a partial refund for that day, which we appreciated. However, a significant issue was the persistent construction noise that disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment. I personally visited the 29th floor, identified the source, and confirmed with the security office that construction was taking place. When I reported this to Haller’s Coastal Homes, they denied any construction activity despite my firsthand observations and video recordings of the noise, which I sent via email. This lack of acknowledgment and resolution left me feeling unsupported. The property emphasizes a "Good Neighbor Policy," which I value, but the management's denial of the noise issue diminished our experience. While the property has many positives, including its location and amenities, it is quite dated. As noted in other reviews, the elevators remain an issue, with wait times reaching up to 20 minutes during our stay. I recommend potential guests inquire in advance about possible disturbances.
