Quiet & serene

Mick and Dorothy are wonderful and accommodating hosts! We enjoyed privacy and tranquil beauty each day at the property. Felt very safe and the multiple sliding doors availed us to enjoy the trade winds …made for great sleeping! The inside was spacious for 2 people and loved the bedroom was separate from the living space. Morning coffee outside was highlighted by the sunrise and surrounding landscape meticulously kept. Even enjoyed some Meyers lemons straight from Mic’s tree! Beautiful pool was too chilly for me get in during January but relaxing to lounge next to it. No oven or range top in kitchen but plenty of every appliance imaginable to compensate …I did miss having an outdoor grill. In all, we would definitely recommend this rental! Close to good restaurants and beaches..and a short drive to Waikiki or downtown Honolulu. Hoping to return someday and enjoy again!

Dorothy and Mick couldn’t have been nicer, more attentive hosts. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. We felt safe to leave the sliding doors open during the night to enjoy the trade winds. Having Costco, Safeway, and numerous restaurants within a 10 minute drive was also very helpful.Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to return in the future.

Amazing stay with a sunrise view!

Dorothy and Mick were extremely hospitable and friendly. My boyfriend and I were very happy with the location (it was only 5 mins from Sandy beach and about 20 mins to Honolulu), the neighbor felt very safe and best of all, you get to wake up to a gorgeous sunrise view right from our bedroom. When we arrived, Dorothy and Mick welcomed us to our place, showed us the place and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

Beautiful Vacation In Hawaii Kai

House owners, Dorothy & Mick are super friendly and very accommodating! Totally upgraded living space is set to roomy open concept with Hawaiian island feel. Big windows & glass doors facing the private pool and tropical vegetations with many different kinds of flowers and fruits (lemon, tangerine, & banana)! Bedroom is set up very nice with comfortable bed, and I had no problem with good nigh sleep everyday. This property is located in beautiful and quiet neighborhood of Eastside of Oahu. Very closed to famous scenic Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach, Koko Crater, Makapu'u, Koko Marina (for many restaurant, shopping, & movie options) and much more. This area is wonderful for many different choices of beaches, trails, marine sports (canoeing, boating, parasailing etc.), that kept me busy and one month disappeared so fast. I will be back for sure! RB

Perfect Place

Dorothy and Mick were so good to us, always going above and beyond to help us out. Dorothy always responded immediately when I called, and Mick even gave us a couple of jump starts when our rental car kept dying. I was recovering from a surgery and their home provided us with everything we needed to make my recovery comfortable and easy. The home was breezy, well maintained, and clean. The pool was perfect for my boyfriend to take a dip in, and Mick provided him with some guy time, which he desperately needed since he was fulfilling nurse duties for me. We plan on staying here again for my upcoming procedures. It was so nice to feel at home when away from home. Thank you, Dorothy and Mick, for being such great hosts. Jody and Jon

We enjoyed our stay in Hawaii. Everything was above our expectations. Lovely, very clean, private home. Easy to get to from airport. Close to many conveniences and attractions. Looking forward to returning.
