"Resort hotel overall was good. The food choices kinda basic for lunch / dinner same menu (mai tai, Cliff dive) boring . The tepan dinner was good but expensive. Breakfast at Upena was ridiculous, basic buffet for $47 per person. Good thing the Whalers village (shops, restaurant options) close enough to walk on street on nice beach walk. That was good."

"Jasmine at the front desk was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Whenever she was busy she always maintained to stay on top of things, acknowledge others, and always had a welcoming smile. My only concern was that the handicapped parking was so far from the hotel entrance. My mom can't walk much due to arthritis. Wish the parking was right in front. There were lots of stalls in front of the hotel, but were usually occupied."
