Ocean views and tropical breezes

Paki Maui 123 is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom oceanfront condo located on the first floor with wonderful unobstructed ocean views from your lanai and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, bringing natural light into the condo. The condo does not have air conditioning. Enjoy preparing meals at home with a well equipped kitchen. The master bedroom features majestic ocean views and access to the bedroom's lanai. It's the perfect place to enjoy a good book or relax after a long day in the sun. The master bedroom features a comfortable California King bed with a spacious ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom features two twin-size beds and the guest bathroom is in the hallway with a walk-in shower. The living room is equipped with a sleeper sofa bed. A washer/dryer is stocked in the unit for added convenience.

Paki Maui features an oceanfront pool, hot tub, BBQ grills with picnic areas, and a coin-operated laundry facility. There are no resort or parking fees at the resort. Paki Maui is a five-story oceanfront resort located on the West side of Maui between Ka'anapali and Kapalua areas. Paki Maui is in the neighborhood of Honokowai with shopping, restaurants, and beach rentals across the street. Within a short drive check out Whaler's Village Shopping Center where you can enjoy many dining options and entertainment. There are golf courses and putting greens available in Kaanapali and Kapalua.

Great beach view. We rented the property specifically for the hot tub. The hot tub was out of service for maintenance the majority of the time we were there.This is not the fault for the property owner, just poor timing. Only property complaint is, fans did not work properly, otherwise a great property.

No, we had a great view of the beach and pool and were able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing at the beach which was amazing and very well located around local shop and places to eat. Amazing food truck from local businesses only a 5 minute drive down the road as well. Easily accessible for the elders that came with us and a very comfy family friendly rental.

Sadly we did not have a good experience here. My family and I tried to stick it out for the length of our stay but ended up leaving 4 days early to check into a hotel. The place is just run down. The photos in the listing do not match what you see in real life. The place has been very “lived in”. I know this is someone’s vacation rental so I hate to leave a bad review but the rental company really needs to reach out to the owners to update some key issues in the place. First off, the bugs. I believe they are palmetto bugs, some type of roach. We found three and the last straw was when I found one crawling on my daughter on the couch. I got a notice that a company was coming to spray the inside of the condo and how I had to let them in on a certain date and that we couldn’t be in the condo for an hour after spraying. Not ok with me. Clearly they knew there were issues with bugs. The towels were not up to standards. They looked like gym socks. The shower curtain had stains. The curtains in the room with the twin beds had stains as well. We paid money to stay here, you want to feel like you are taken care of to some extent. Pro- the pool is right there and the beach is right across the trees pictured with a small park. I did tell the rental company we left early and followed all the check out rules. They wished I contacted sooner to make our stay more enjoyable but nothing was going to do that once I saw bugs on my daughter.

Family friendly, great location for small kids

Family friendly location. Park nearby with playground. Beach has a reef around it creating small ear pools for little ones. Comfortable home. I asking distance to great coffee and farmers market grocery store. The floor could use a real good scrub.

Great Location, Easy Vacation

The location right at the water was amazing! We snorkeled and swam right out front. Comfortable and large master suite, well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, easy parking. This suited our low maintenance family really well. We hope to be back!

Great Family Vaca and location

The condo was clean and we didn't have any issues. The location and view are amazing. Convenient places to shop and eat within walking distance and a short drive to LaHaina Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Place

The location is great! The beach in front of Paki Maui was perfect for our family, the corals give enough protection so that my older kids could swim safely and my baby enjoyed all the tide pools in the front. The pool was right in front of the room which was nice because I could keep an eye on the kids while still being in the comfort of my apartment. Overall the place is well stocked with everything we needed to cook, it had beach chairs and boogie boards. My only complaint is that the closet doors were not set up correctly and we had a hard time opening them to the point that we had to remove one of the doors. Also, I wish they had blackout curtains to give more privacy and darken then room a little better because the lights from the pool area stay on quite late. Overall, we had a great experience and we are happy with our stay!

Birthday trip

We enjoyed our stay loved the views from the balconies. We were able to see some whales. Though there was lots of rain the first couple of days we made the most of it but enjoyed hanging out in the room The hot tub was full at night and seemed like the people in it had to be told by residents that lived there to get out, so we used the hot tub first thing at 9:00, we enjoyed how dedicated the staff is in cleaning the pool and hot tub!! We utilized the bbq downstairs in the pool area to make dinner, however the smoke alarms were very sensitive we had to take them down the wouldn’t stop beeping. The outlets in both bathrooms wouldn’t work but did let the office management know they had someone would come but we never saw anyone call or come by. The garbage disposal sounds likes it works however nothing seems to go down. To me we made the most of it regardless of a few things but really enjoyed the property so thank you very much it was a memorable birthday week

Wonderful Place to Stay!

We had such a wonderful time at this Amazing property. I honestly don’t understand these negative reviews. Everything was perfect! So clean, fantastic communication, great location, amazing views, wonderful beach for swimming/walking, beautiful kitchen and comfortable beds. We also loved the number of lounge chairs available at the pool and beach area. We loved eating at the food truck park (had the Thai truck 4 times), Pizza Paradiso and Ms Arrapa’s (literally right across the street). Loved the ABC store 3 minute walk away too! The trade winds were perfect, did not need ac at all in July, the fans provided were just what was needed! The condo was bigger than I thought it would be, bedrooms are a great size and everything is situated perfectly. Great kitchen items for cooking and plenty of dishes and flatware. Just a great place! We cannot wait to return! We just loved it all!!! Thank you so much!!!

Not notified of broken appliances and rodents living in the unit

We had a great first time time in Maui, beautiful island and the condo location was awesome; however, we had issues with the condo itself. The stove/oven did not work at all. We purchased over $300 in groceries and was not able to cook aside from bbq’ing outside. There was a rat crawling down the curtain which we scurried outside. We had family fly in from Oahu and they could not spend the night with us. When we pulled out the sleeper couch for them, it was covered in rat droppings. We had to help cover a hotel room for them as they had small children. This was the first time renting thru VRBO as we wanted to experience “living” in Hawaii but weren’t able to have the basic essential of cooking for my family. We also couldn’t sleep comfortably knowing there were rodents and roaches in the unit. If all your units aren’t inspected for cleanliness and proper maintenance, we would’ve stayed in a hotel. A but disappointing as it was not worth the extra money we spent.

Imperfect Stay

Poor communication, no A/C, old and outdated, smelled musty, dirty rugs, horribly uncomfortable cheap beds. Departed early. If you are handicapped or elderly and cannot do stairs, and want to get down to the pool or ocean, this IS NOT the place for you.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. Place could use some updates, especially twin mattresses. It had all necessary items including pool and beach appointments. Location convenient to pool. Unfortunately the stairs to the beach in front of the unit were blocked for repairs. Parking lot spaces were really tight. No air conditioning but we were fine in March with the ocean breeze. Would stay there again.

Cycling and Snorkeling Getaway

We had such a wonderful time at this property. Main floor was really easy for rolling bicycles in and out each day. Snorkeling on this trip was best down by the Westin property, Nipilli Beach or Honolua as the snorkeling at this beach isnt the easiest to enter and not much coral or fish to speak of. Loved this location being directly across street from Fish Market for the poke and fish burritos. We will be back to this location next year! Mahalo for a wonderful vacation.
