The room that we had was modified, presumably by the owner. Entry was through doors with opposite hinges. A left handed screen door and a right handed keyed entry made it difficult to access the room with luggage. The keyed door opens to the kitchenette, with an inch of swing to spare, effectively blocking entry to the main space. The mirror wall and closet doors were exceptionally clean. The table and chairs on the lanai however, were salty and dusty upon arrival. The air conditioning was an older, loud model, which droned out the sounds of loud cars passing by. There are supposedly 50 parking spaces for 150 units, good luck parking on site after dinner. Staff was available by phone during check-in hours and showed up promptly.

2nd time staying on this property and this unit was no as nice as the one we got.before. This one was clean but run down. Couch bed was not comfortable at all. No closet door for the washer/dryer, Crack and sagging ceiling in the bedroom. It is a great location, next ro the water, beautiful balcony view of the ocean, walking distance to downtown and next door to a small beach. If you are going to be out and about all day, it is a good place to come back to at Nighy. Just not all units are as nice and you don't get to pick which unit you stay in, It would be nice if you could pick.

Absolutely loved everything about the Fairmont Gold experience. I would sincerely recommend staying with a Fairmont Gould, as there was an amazing breakfast, great staff, own concierge, nicer floor.. the food options for breakfast or actually a great money saver with really high-quality food versus going to the restaurants. Amazing food options at the hotel, great amenities. Snorkeling in the lagoon with sea turtles and hundreds of tropical fish. Luau on property.
