Everything was super clean and easy to check in. The area is decent and I felt safe. I parked my car outside the hotel & was not worried about it at all. Only problem we had was our room door not opening on our 2nd night but other than that everything was good.

Oceana was the perfect hotel to spend on the last leg of my trip in LA. We relaxed by the pool and walked along the beach. It's quiet and the rooms are very spacious. It's an older place and the rooms go from teeny-tiny to normal. Inner rooms don't have any view. The staff was nice but they are trying to sell timeshares so beware. Decent location just a couple blocks uphill from Union Square
