The Fuenterrabia apartment is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city of Hondarribia, an exclusive accommodation on two floors with seven bedrooms, four bathrooms and a terrace with spectacular views of the Bay of Txingudi. It is located in the center of the city and a step away from the Hondarribia beach and the La Marina neighborhood, an old fishermen's neighborhood.
Located on the fourth floor of the building, on the main floor, in addition to the living and dining area facing the sea, it has a kitchen, three bedrooms, one of them with an en-suite bathroom, and a bathroom with a shower. On the upper floor, a nice distributor gives access to four more bedrooms, one of them with an en-suite bathroom and a bathroom.
Its excellent location and ample space make it an ideal option for traveling in a group or with the family, with Hondarribia beach being a 7-minute walk away. In addition, just a 3-minute walk away is the La Venta car park, where every 15 minutes a boat leaves with a direct route to the neighboring town of Hendaye, to enjoy its spectacular 3 km long fine sand beach, one of the most great ones of the Basque Coast.
Fuenterrabia also offers a parking space for one car, Wi-Fi connection, centralized music system in all rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, electric shutters in all rooms and the possibility of requesting a cot and high chair.

In Hondarribia, a traditional fishing village, its two historic neighborhoods stand out: the Old Town that coincides with the old walled enclosure with cobbled streets, numerous buildings of artistic and historical interest where the Castle of Carlos V is located next to the Plaza de Armas and the Parish church and the Barrio de la Marina, an old fishermen's neighborhood located outside the walls that presents architecture of a popular character with its houses equipped with wooden balconies that are painted in bright colors and adorned with numerous flowers.
It is in this last neighborhood where the largest number of bars, restaurants and cafeterias are concentrated in a few streets where you can savor quality cuisine where fish and fresh and seasonal products are the protagonists. You will also be able to taste a varied selection of pinchos, some of them winners of various awards.
A 5-minute walk away we find the Ama Guadalupekoa bus stop, next to the school that bears the same name. From there, the E21 bus line leaves every hour with a direct 30-minute journey to Donostia - San Sebastián, the capital of Gipuzkoa, where you can enjoy numerous tourist attractions such as the Peine del Viento. Kursaal Palace, La Concha Bay or take a tour of pintxos through the streets of the Old Town.

Joli appartement avec une vue imprenable dans un coin sympathique et bien pourvu en restaurant, bar et boutique, ;Avec un agencement qui permet à une famille nombreuse d'avoir chacun son petit coin.
Petit regret qu'il n'y ait qu'une seule place de parking car les alentours ne sont pas propices pour se garer.
Or à part venir en bus, c'est compliqué d'avoir un seul véhicule, quand on recherche un appartement pouvant loger autant de personnes.
L'équipement de l'appartement mériterait d'être complété (par exemple des spatules en bois pour ne pas abimer les poêles qui malheureusement sont abimées à force d'être confrontées aux spatules en métal, ou une bouilloire annoncée mais qui n'y était pas) et peut être renouvelé (je pense au micro onde capricieux, où au lit qui grince et dont le matelas est un peu fatigué).
A noter qu'il y a une salle d'eau microscopique, qui devrait être réservée aux enfants tant l'accès à la douche y est compliqué.
De manière générale, le séjour a été agréable et nous avons profité du balcon qui donne sur la baie.
We were so pleased with our stay here. The communication with the owner was fantastic and the location of the apartment was perfect. We had a large group and it was nearly impossible to find a place in Hondarribia. The apartment was perfect for us and we hope to come back.

Great location and great for big groups!
We absolutely loved the location of this property and it worked so well for my family that came to visit from all over the world to stay together. Plenty of beds for everyone, the place was clean, and you can't beat the location. Absolutely beautiful view from the patio and a quick walk to anything you need. No car is needed at all.
My only issue was when checking in our contact was very aggressive and angry that we were running late (because we were taking a bus there) and he threatened to give the property away to someone else and not let us in if we didn't get there within 10 mins of his call. He told us to call when we were 30 mins away but he called to say he was already there when we were just leaving San Sebastion. So that was not a great start to our trip and I thought it was extremely rude and unprofessional. Check-in was allowed after 4pm and we were there by 5pm. Also, it would be nice if the house came with some supplies for the beach, it would be a nice touch.

Parking sous terrain trop exigüe..
Pas de nappe pour la table de la salle à manger:linge de maison trop succinct.
Tringle à rideaux et fermeture baie vitrée à réparer!!

Situacion estupenda. La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos
Alguna mejora en los utensilios de la cocina, como sartenes en mejor estado, tostador... la bandeja superior del lavavajillas con cuidado se cae. Un par de colchones necesitan mejorarse. El resto todo ok. La terraza espectacular y la zona muy buena y cerca de todos los sitios.

I left a part of my heart over there!
What an amazing and cosy apartment! The views are simply stunning. We were 9 people , stayed for one week. We enjoyed the place a lot. All rooms and restorooms were oretty clean, the owner helped us with every detail and was available at all times. I will definitely come back to this place and stay in the same apartment. I fully recommend it!

Apartamento espacioso en Hondarribia
El apartamento está muy bien, es espacioso y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar allí unos días. Las vistas a la ría son espectaculares y resulta muy agradable desayunar en la terraza con ese paisaje. El aspecto negativo fue que nos encontramos la casa algo sucia, con polvo, de no haber sido limpiada en profundidad y también echamos en falta detalles como que los dispensadores de jabón de los baños tuvieran algo de jabón y que hubiera papel del water para pasar un fin de semana.

Propiedad acorde con las fotos del anuncio.
El apartamento tiene unas vistas preciosas y se encuentra en buen estado.
La plaza de garaje de la que dispone es amplia y cómoda.
El propietario muy amable, facilitando las cosas e indicándonos sitios que visitar y dónde comer. Seriedad y amabilidad.
Totalmente recomendable, repetiría en el caso de volver.

Great Stay
Stayed at this property last month with my family and another family, visiting from the U.S., touring N. Spain. We were nine people total, four adults and five kids. Had a great stay. We loved the nearby beaches, access to restaurants and bars, and access to public transportation. Everything that we wanted was close by. We chose this house and the city because we wanted more of an immersion experience in northern Spain; we felt like we got it. Not over-run with tourists. Ate lots of tasty pintxos (Gran Sol is 2 min walk from house), enjoyed great city parks, took direct bus (stop is right near house) to San Sebastián, spent lots of time lounging on the sand. The house looks exactly like the pictures on the website. The owners, Mikel and Maria, are a pleasure to work with, super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend the house and Hondarribia.

Una experiencia muy recomendable!!!
Solo tengo buenas palabras para mi experiencia en este apartamento y en el municipio que lo alberga.Apartamento muy amplio,con un salon y una habitacion principal de ensueño.La descripcion del inmueble que se da en la pagina HomeAvay es muy fiel asi que comentare un poco mas lo que se puede realizar cerca de hondarribia y en el mismo pueblo.Pueblo tipico vasco-frances con sus casas de colores,sus pintxos que son una maravilla y ganadores de varios premios (bar el gran sol por ejemplo) y el autentico poteo tan tipico de la zona.Paseo maritimo largo y agradable de realizar.Justo enfrente del apartamento salen barcos cada 5-10 minutos que te acercan a Baiona (ya es Francia) y dando un paseo de unos 40 minutos desde el apartamento o bien en coche en 10 minutos tienes el faro de hondarribia.Hondarribia es un buen punto de partida para visitar San Juan de Luz (Francia),las cuevas en Sara,Irun, subir la famosa cremallera que se trata de un tren tipico de la zona,etc.Existen multitud de actividades acuaticas que se pueden realizar en el municipio y el apartamento se encuentra cercano a todas las actividades, por lo que no es necesario el coche para deambular por el pueblo.Ademas el apartamento cuenta con garaje para poder olvidarte del coche durante toda tu estancia.Los propietarios solo nos pusieron facilidades para todo y realmente les estamos muy agradecidos.En resumen,apartamento de autentico lujo,muy bien situado,en un entorno absolutamente increible y con un trato por parte de los propietarios muy bueno.Recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera disfrutar de algo bueno,bonito y barato que no se lo piense mas y que este es su apartamento.Atentamente,un inquilino agradecido!!!
