Winter Driving Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. You may find valuable winter driving tips from the CHP here: https://bit.ly/3IKiY7n
Summer Patio Furniture Patio furniture is available for your use during summer months only. All outdoor tables, chairs and loungers are put into storage in the fall, in order to protect the furnishings from winter weather. Barbecue grills, however, do remain outside for your enjoyment.
Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Because bears no longer have a strong fear of humans, you may encounter bears during your spring, summer and fall stays. Feeding bears is illegal. Leaving food outside, trash accessible, or doors and windows unlocked is likely to cause significant property damage to homes and to vehicles. Please take a moment to learn how to be Bear Aware, so that we can continue to live in harmony with our wildlife.
Office Holiday Hours The TLUXP office is closed on New Year’s Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

simply wonderful property. short walk to the lake, easy 7 min drive to Homewood. clean, lots of amenities in the house and fantastic overall customer support. would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful home and excellent property management company
This home is beautiful and just as we hoped for based on the website information. The only hiccup, out of everyone's control, was the historic snowstorm that cut out 2 days at the home due to all the road closures.
The property management staff handled this challenge very graciously and expressed their regrets that the home could not be accessed as we had planned.
Absolutely no complaints or concerns from us. Everything was great, clean and well-kept.
There was soap missing from one bathroom but that is hardly an issue given the overall perfection.
Thanks to the management team for their support.
The accomodations were top shelf. The location, amenities, everything was superb. It was like being home at Tahoe. Only issue was with the internet service. With 7 people streaming media or online not everyone could gain access online. With that being said, this property is excellent and we will return.
Loved Aspen Paradise! Pictures are spot on for what you see when you arrive. Really well-stocked kitchen for those who are interested in cooking, the upstairs play/hang space was great for our kiddos, bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well-stocked, and we loved the sunny back deck! We hope to be back again!
TLDR: Newer home - mins away from Homewood ski & lake
PRO'S:
-Newer home with modern amenities
-Bathroom amenities were “green”, no plastic waste
-Nice kitchen that is stocked with lots of kitchen items such as sharp knives and lots of Tupperware, bakeware, plates etc. Bonus for providing more than enough paper towels, trash bags and dishwasher detergent.
-Large dinning table; great place to play games
-Large deck with far away neighbors
-5 mins to homewood ski
-roads to house and driveway were not on a slope.
SUGGESTIONS:
-No reception and there was a Wifi access issue that only allowed 4 devices
-Improve the door entry system - it was hard to get key out
-Simple instructions for the dishwasher would be nice.
-Fix the shuffleboard, somehow its sand were tracked everywhere in the house
