Homer, Alaska 4BR House-great views, dogs welcome, close to town

  • You'll feel right at home in this bright, cozy 4 bedroom house. This 2 story home sleeps up to 8 comfortably. The house and well-maintained large yard is very kid and dog friendly. The fully-furnished kitchen has plenty of dishes, cookware, and all the basics for home cooked meals.
The sun filled home has an incredible view of Mt. Augustine volcano, yet is less than 10 minutes from downtown Homer and 15 min. to the World famous Homer Spit/Harbor. There is great access to hikes, ski trails, bike paths, beaches, shopping, and amazing restaurants. There are 2 large decks with access to the large yard -keep your eyes out for Sandhill cranes and the occasional moose.

Out of state fishing

Loved the location of the property. The iron in the water was a little off putting but we brought extra water for the boat so that was fine. We had a great stay, cooked cod on the barbecue grill. The only thing was the dining; sleeps 8 but only 4 can eat at the peninsula at a time.

Upstairs bathroom toilet was tiny, vanity was pretty low , no bathroom fan , would like to see a fire pit outside, all in all we would definitely stay here again.
